"I'm not that great to wake up to," Alec said shyly. It felt like he was protesting because he had to protest not because he seriously meant it. It was just hard to hear things so complimentary about himself especially as of late.

"We'll see what happens," Alec continued, twisting his mug around in his hands for lack of anything better to do with his hands. He didn't fidget often but when he felt the urge, he was always grateful for something to fidget with.

"I didn't guess this about Luke," admitted Alec, glancing over at both Luke and Reid. "I thought it'd be Jocelyn or no one for him."
