Reid has no idea what Jace looks like, of course, he only knows what Luke has told him, and it most decidedly had never included a mention of what level of pretty Jace is. For reasons born purely of curiosity, though, he wishes he could have an idea of what Jace did look like, if only because he wonders whether there's a specific type of appearance one has to have to be called pretty. It's not really that big a deal, of course, and Morgan isn't here to call him that anymore (which is actually a reminder he could have done without) so Reid supposes it's easy enough to move past it.
Until he remembers that other people have called him that since his arrival in Darrow, and it makes him furrow his brow.
"Magnus actually called me that once," he says absently, more focused on the topic than the name drop, "back when he first got here. He showed up in the middle of the store all kinds of dazed, and he said I was pretty. Which Luke shut down pretty quickly, so I guess that's why I didn't really pay much mind to it." With the corners of his lips twitching, Reid glances over his shoulder at Alec. "Of course, we're not exactly suited to each other's types. You know, Ethan, my first b-- Well, the first man I was ever with, he was built kind of like Luke. Even had the beard. Obviously, Luke is superior in every way, just to be clear."
