"I've never been to one either," Alec told him. He'd known Shadowhunters that had gotten married but the Lightwoods were pariahs in Idris and most people didn't chance inviting them to any sort of social event. Ale didn't really care but it was kind of an annoyance to have missed out on so many things because of what his parents had done so many years in the past.

"I should be able to ask around or look it up on the internet," he assured Reid. He didn't know how good of a party he could plan but making a dinner reservation didn't sound too difficult. He wasn't sure if that was the type of party some of Reid's guests would want to have but that didn't matter. It was what Reid wanted. "I'll take care of it."
