a very mess-y valentine's day

When Reid wakes up on Valentine's Day morning, it's without a single regret. Nestled against the warmth of his boyfriend's body, he stifles a yawn as he blinks against the rays of the sunrise that peek through the curtains before smiling to himself and settling his cheek back down against Luke's chest.

They'd arrived at Kagura after Luke had closed the bookstore for the weekend and aside from going out to dinner at the lodge's main restaurant, they haven't spent much time outside of their room. Reid has no complaints, of course, considering a great deal of the past twenty-four hours have consisted of lazing in bed, alternating between making love, napping, and ordering room service. They can't be blamed, it's a busy weekend at Kagura because it's the only so-called destination setting in the city so there seem to be a lot of other couples who'd had the same idea they had to go on a romantic weekend getaway. Luke had suggested it months ago but they've both been so busy with work that it hadn't made sense to book a room until now.

He's glad for it, though. As much as he could go on about the true history of Valentine's Day, he's never had anyone to celebrate the Hallmark holiday with before. That they can spend this time together without worrying about anyone or anything else is a gift, one he's going to make sure they continue to cherish until they check-out tomorrow afternoon. Besides, there's something he's been meaning to bring up for what feels like ages now, even though it hasn't been that long since he'd mentioned it to Graham. He'd spoken to T.J. about it on New Year's Eve, too, his desire to propose to Luke one day; but Reid knows he and Luke are both pragmatic men. It's in both of their best interests to talk about it, to discuss what they really want for their future, just as they'd talked about who would take Leo if Mindy were to ever disappear from the city.

There are nerves, most certainly, at the prospect of bringing it up. He isn't sure whether it's too early to be talking about this, Reid has no idea what the protocol is on that. All he really knows is that he's deeply in love with the man lying next to him, that he's never loved anyone else as much as this, and he wants to spend the rest of his life with Luke. From the very start of their relationship, they'd made sure to be clear with each other about the fact that neither of them were looking to start something casual. Now that they're nearly six months into their romantic relationship, Reid thinks maybe it would be okay to at least discuss the subject of marriage.

It can at least wait until they've ordered in breakfast, though, and his smile grows wider as Luke stirs beside him. Tracing over the curve of Luke's bare hip, Reid lets out a content hum before tilting his head up to look at his boyfriend. "Morning," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to the edge of Luke's jaw. "Happy Valentine's Day."

As with many other firsts Luke has experienced with Reid, this is his first real Valentine's Day celebration, where he's had someone to spend the day with, someone who loves him, someone he can very well see himself spending the rest of his life with. Being in this situation had almost struck him as strange at first, getting to have this moment for the first time at thirty-eight instead of eighteen, like he's sure so many other people experience, but it's strange in an absolutely wonderful way. Ever since they'd met, Reid has brought him first after first and although some of them have come as such incredible surprises, Luke has enjoyed every last one of them. Being able to go away together, being able to spend the weekend up at the lodge, being able to celebrate this holiday together, even though they'd agreed this room would be their gift to one another instead of worrying about flowers and chocolates and cards, it's all rather special to Luke. He thinks it's special for Reid, too, or they wouldn't be here in the first place, and as he creeps away from sleep, as he realizes he can feel Reid's fingers on his skin and his lips on his jaw, he grins blindly before opening his eyes and finding his boyfriend curled up against him.

"Good morning," he echoes, his voice still gravelly from sleep. "Happy Valentine's Day." It's surreal to be saying that to someone in this specific scenario, but it pulls a shiver out of Luke all the same. He'd never known new experiences this last in life could still prove to be so incredible, but they do. Maybe they even mean more to him now than they might have when he was a young man, but whatever the case, he knows he's lucky that Reid is here with him, that he's the person who's chosen to be with Luke, that together they can have this weekend. That's what matters most at the end of it all. That he's here with the right person, that he thinks they both are.

With a yawn, Luke stretches under the blankets, his spine popping before he curves himself toward Reid and drapes his arm over his waist. They more or less haven't left this bed since their arrival yesterday and while he would very much like to go downstairs and have a nice dinner tonight, besides that, he has every intention of staying right here. Luke's never been a particularly sedentary man and with the energy of the werewolf, he's found himself always relatively busy, moving from place to place, working on the store or the apartment or anything in between, but the prospect of having a weekend where he and Reid have nothing to do but spend time together is far too appealing and he can't find the slightest reason to busy himself with anything else but experiencing their time together. In terms of getting out of bed, he thinks the jacuzzi bathtub might prove itself to be a good reason to climb out from under the covers, but that need isn't particularly pressing either and they have a long day stretched out ahead of them with plenty of hours for them to fill.

"I'm hungry," he mumbles against Reid's chest, then pulls back a little so that he might get a better look at his boyfriend. "Which I'm sure comes as no surprise. It's been about six hours since I've last eaten." He's hungry more often than not, but given their exertions and the fact that he's just slept better than he has in a very long time, Luke isn't at all surprised to find his stomach rumbling at the prospect of breakfast. They'll have to order two for him, at the very least, which he's sure will raise some eyebrows, but he thinks the staff will generally leave them alone.

While Luke might be hungry, there's little that could really distract him from Reid when it comes down to it and when he feels the press of his boyfriend's cock against him, he grumbles low in his throat, rolling his hips in return and making half-asleep grabbing gestures in Reid's general direction when he leans away just long enough to get the phone. He may not yet be entirely awake, but he only needs his barest wits about him to be aroused by the thought of using some of that whipped cream on Reid and although he doesn't answer in so many words, it's clear by the way Luke is absently pawing at his hip that he wants exactly what Reid is talking about. There's something particularly appealing about a lazy morning spent in bed, feeling only partially awake and still wrapped up in Reid and he presses closer, ducking under Reid's arm so that he can press a kiss to the side of his chest, dragging his lips slowly over warm skin.

"Eggs," he answers in a gruff voice, all without opening his eyes. "Lots of eggs. Lots of bacon." He thinks Reid has said something about having his way with him, but he's the one who's hard already and he's the one with the phone and the menu in his hands, which Luke takes to mean he's going to be the one having his way with Reid. It takes some shuffling, but without dislodging the phone or the menu from Reid's hands, Luke shifts until he's pressing his boyfriend back against the pillows, hovering over him slightly, pressed up against his side. "Orange juice. And coffee. I need lots of coffee." Because he plans on needing to be very awake for the rest of the day, although for now this is more than good enough. He's just coherent enough to realize he's probably going to make things difficult for Reid, but he's also coherent enough to recognize the fun in that and the fact that it's all going to be worthwhile.

So when his boyfriend picks up the phone to call room service, Luke presses another kiss to his chest, then nuzzles softly against his skin as he begins to trace a slow path down the length of Reid's body. Being like this, only partly awake, lazy and warm and happy, it gives Luke the right mindset to really take his time and explore everything he can with a slow sort of dedication. Reid's scent is so familiar, wrapped around him, making him feel as if they're in their own little cocoon that no one could ever possibly break into and he breathes in deeply, then gently bites the skin just over Reid's ribs. It's not nearly hard enough to leave a mark, a slow, playful bite more than anything, but it sends a shiver of pleasure coursing through Luke's body and he knows Reid is on the phone, he knows he needs to stay quiet, but while he's perfectly content not to make much noise himself, he's far from prepared to back off long enough to let Reid give his entire focus to the ordering.

Luke smiles against Reid's stomach, presses kisses to his skin, then nuzzles against the edge of his hip. Moving down his boyfriend's body, disappearing under the sheets, he can feel himself growing warmer and the press of Reid's cock against his chest makes it impossible for him to do anything but roll his own hips against the bed, rubbing himself against the mattress. But he wants to focus on Reid right now.

Shifting, his fingers slowly wrap around the base of Reid's cock and he strokes him once, still moving with that lazy slowness that's defined everything Luke has done since he'd opened his eyes. Then he tilts his head, hearing Reid's muffled voice from above him, diligently placing the order for their breakfast, and he grins as he leans forward and drags his tongue up the length of Reid's cock, breathing him in all the while and trembling with his own deep pleasure.

Luke can't help but chuckle at Reid's reaction, nuzzling his cheek against his boyfriend's thigh as he finally hangs up the phone, nearly tossing it down onto the base. He'd never in his life imagined something like this, a situation in which he'd be halfway down the bed in a lodge, in the midst of a romantic getaway with someone he loves more than he ever imagined could be possible, someone who loved him just as much in return. It's an entirely new experience and one Luke is more than happy to dive into with enthusiasm, which he thinks is likely evident in the way his tongue slips across Reid's hip, then over the hot, smooth skin of his cock. He knows it's a bit of a cliché, but it's also true that he's never had anything even close to this. Everything about Reid turns him on, the feel of his skin, the sound of his breaths, his moans, even the way his heartbeat sounds when Luke allows himself to really tune into it and listen. The pace has quickened, the pulse rapid in the hollow of his throat and the crease of his thigh, where Luke nuzzles him again, breathing deeply.

"You promised to be good," he murmurs, his voice muffled as his hand twists around Reid's cock. There's so much of this he still thinks of as an experiment, as learning what Reid likes best. Having never been with another man before meant Luke had been nervous about being able to please Reid, but between what they'd talked about and the fact that he trusts his boyfriend to tell him what does and doesn't work, most of those fears have all but dissipated. Now Luke looks at it all as a way to better learn what Reid wants and what makes him feel good. He's growing more confident and he feels rather pleased with himself most times, mostly because the idea of making Reid come, how great it feels just to make him moan, that's the only thing Luke really wants.

"I didn't promise anything," he points out and he's smiling, his hand twisting again as he licks another strip up the length of Reid's cock. It sends a shiver down his spine when his boyfriend says he loves him, it gives Luke chills just to know, to remember how important he is to someone. Being loved like this is a new experience and it's one he knows he's never going to get enough of. It's not something he's ever going to be willing to give up. "I love you and the only thing in the world I want more than breakfast is to make you come."

It's meant to be a bit of a joke, but Luke's also entirely sincere in his words. He's never really said anything like that before, not to anyone, and he's never been a particularly vocal partner in bed, though he doesn't think anyone has ever had to wonder what he likes and what he does. Saying something like that to Reid, though, making his intention that clear, it only serves to arouse Luke further and he grinds against the bed for a moment before returning his complete attention to Reid. He parts his lips and takes Reid into his mouth, relaxing his jaw and his throat like he's learned, groaning at the pressure of Reid's cock sliding past his lips and along his tongue. The taste of him is strong and heavy and Luke has to close his eyes as another deep shudder runs through him as he slides his hand along the inside of Reid's thigh, his fingers slipping under to cup his balls and groans at the warmth of them in his hand.

He could spend the rest of the weekend on this alone. If Reid would let him, Luke would do nothing else but explore his body with his hands and his tongue and lips. He thinks of everywhere he could lick, everywhere he could taste and Luke moans again, a helpless sound that feels as if it's trembling through his entire body.

Given the way he'd lived, more or less celibate for a good number of years before coming to Darrow, Luke had never really spent much time exploring what he likes and what he doesn't. When the prospect of an intimate relationship with Reid had first come up, he'd admittedly been a little nervous simply because he didn't really know what he liked, he didn't know what was going to be good, what he might do to Reid that would make him feel good. But he should have known better, because right from the start there's only ever been trust between them. The first time he'd accidentally revealed himself to Reid as a werewolf, instead of running or telling Luke he couldn't be around him anymore, he'd stayed and he'd let Luke explain. The trust necessary for something like that is incredible and there are times when Luke wonders if that's the moment when he first began to fall in love with Reid. It had certainly been the first time in a very long time that he had felt like someone accepted him for who he was, regardless of his affliction, and that trust has extended into every aspect of their relationship. There never needed to be any fear, never any worry, and when he had realized that, he'd felt so much more free.

Free to tell Reid what he wants, free to explore and experiment, trying things he's never tried before, free to tell Reid what works for him. Right now he can't exactly speak, but he can moan and he does so quite enthusiastically when Reid grips his hair and thrusts into his mouth. There are times when being a werewolf seems to make him feel as if he needs to be in charge, there's a very dominant part of his personality that comes through when they're being intimate, but this is something he absolutely loves. When Reid takes over like this, when his body simply responds to whatever Luke is doing, regardless of what that response it, he feels the pleasure and electricity of it running the entire length of his body. It ripples through him, running down his spine and going straight to his dick, which he rubs against the bed again, knowing even if Reid does absolutely nothing but lie here after Luke has brought him to orgasm, it will be more then enough. Just the heat of his body, the feel of his muscles shifting under his skin, that's all Luke will ever need.

At times he feels a little bit like a teenager, finding himself in the first really incredible sexual relationship of his life, although the extent to which their connection is incredible extends far beyond the physical. But when he and Reid are together like this, rolling around together in bed, he feels almost playful and giddy with the knowledge that he and Reid are here and as happy as they are. He's never had anything like this and for the first time it feels like he's being given the chance for something long since missed out on. That he's getting to experience it with someone as good for him as Reid makes it all that much more special.

With another pleased little noise made low in his throat, he continues to bob his head, his hand squeezing Reid's balls a little firmer, massaging him as he sucks harder. There's no rush -- except that someone will be at their door eventually with breakfast -- but he loves knowing that what he does is pleasurable to Reid and he loves knowing, if they want to, he can get Reid off rather quickly, which he thinks is simply a sign of how turned on they are by each other. There are days when Reid barely has to touch him before Luke is biting down hard on his lip and doing everything he can to think of things that aren't remotely sexy so that he can last just a little while longer. In that way, too, he feels so much younger than he really is, struggling to keep himself from coming too soon whenever Reid touches him, and it's one more thing he knows is nothing to be embarrassed by. He doesn't have to hide anything here or pretend to be something he's not or struggle to be anything but what he is, which is as much of a turn on as anything else.

He wants to taste Reid, he wants the scent of him on the air and he flicks he gaze up, staring along the length of Reid's body so he can watch. He wants to see Reid's face when he comes, wants to feel every last shudder and sigh that goes through him.

Even though he's moving in a slow, languid sort of way, his limbs and muscles obviously exhausted -- which makes Luke feel especially proud of himself -- Reid still manages to control the situation and Luke finds himself wriggling up the bed, flipping onto his back and kissing his boyfriend happily all without the slightest hesitation. He's incredibly hard, but he would have been happy enough to stroke himself, to bring himself to orgasm, to let Reid simply watch him instead, but it's clear Reid is having none of that. There probably isn't much time left before their breakfast is delivered and Luke doesn't want anyone coming into their room and catching even the slightest glimpse of Reid naked -- because he's a little possessive, he knows this, and he wants Reid all to himself no matter what -- but there's no refusing this. There's no refusing his incredible boyfriend, there's no refusing what he's proposing and Luke thinks if he even did manage some kind of half-hearted protest, one he really wouldn't feel at all, Reid would just smile and convince him it was a good idea with only the slightest movement of his body.

"Spencer," he murmurs, just watching him for a moment, watching the way Reid's face changes as he presses his fingers into his own ass. Luke's hands reach for him, gliding over his skin, over his hips, the curve of his ass, and he reaches further back, touching Reid's hand, feeling the way his fingers are moving into his body, preparing himself, and it makes Luke's cock grow harder still. A soft whine escapes him, a sound he hadn't intended on making, and he'd be embarrassed, but it's only a sign of how badly he wants Reid, how much he enjoys being with him. His boyfriend is astonishingly sexy and he does things to Luke that he hasn't felt in a very long time, brings out parts of him Luke had long considered buried and left behind. Now, when they're together, he's never been so glad to be so wrong about something in his life, he's never been so pleased to find some hidden part of himself he thought he'd forgotten.

"I think if you keep doing what you're doing, it won't take much," Luke answers when Reid asks if he thinks they have enough time. It's meant to be a joke and his lips pull up into a smile, but the humour in his expression is cut off abruptly when Reid lifts his body and then sinks down onto his cock. He's suddenly engulfed in heat, tight muscles wrapped around his cock, the slick feeling of Reid's skin sliding against him, and he groans, his hands tightening on Reid's hips and just holding onto him for a moment. He needs to ground himself, to give himself a moment and remind himself where they are. Maybe there is a bit of a race against the clock, but he doesn't need to give up that easily.

Luke's eyes open again a moment later and using the leverage he has on Reid's hips, he rolls his own, thrusting deeper into the heat of his body. There's not going to be any doubt that'll beat the clock, not when Reid is so utterly gorgeous as he is now, riding Luke's cock, his skin covered with a thin sheen of sweat and his hair hanging on his eyes. It makes Luke want to touch him everywhere, kiss him everywhere, but he feels frozen, too, stunned to silence by what he sees and all he can do is moan and grip Reid's hips harder, thrusting into his body, setting a steady rhythm he knows is going to get him off before too long.

At the sound of Reid's voice, the truncated sentences, the way he can't quite speak, Luke almost laughs out of sheer delight and affection. There's something so sweet about it, so unlike his boyfriend any other time, when he can find anything to say and has some interesting fact about nearly any topic someone can bring up, but in this moment, when they're together, he's speechless and yet still tries to find the right words. It makes Luke's chest tighten with love, warmth rushing through him, and his lips twitch into a smile, but he can't quite manage a laugh. Not when Reid is riding him like this, when he's leaning forward and using his tongue across the scar on Luke's chest. His fingers tighten on Reid's hips and he doesn't want to hurt him, but he can't pull back either, he can't stop himself from holding onto Reid so tightly. All he wants to do is be close to him, all he wants to do is stay here and continue on like this and forget about everything else they might ever have to think about. It isn't possible, not forever, not long term, but for now, for this weekend, nothing exists beyond this room.

When Reid leans toward, when Luke can feel his boyfriend's teeth against his ear, he gasps and slides his hands up, finally releasing Reid's hips. His hands roam over his back, sliding over sweat slicked skin until he's able to wrap both his arms around Reid and pull him closer, crushing their bodies together so there's nothing at all left between them, not even the slightest space or bit of air. His hips keep rolling up, thrusting into Reid, and he's groaning now, possibly loud enough to be heard out in the hall, but Luke is gone, he's forgotten anyone else even exists, and whatever might be beyond their bed doesn't matter to him at all. He's so close to coming and with Reid pressed this close to him, it's only a matter of moments before he can't hold off any longer.

Against his chest, he can feel Reid's heart beating, not quite as quickly as his own, but still fast, still hammering there behind his breastbone. And he can hear the pulse in his throat, he can listen to every panting breath that whooshes in and out of Reid's lungs, and Luke knows he's never loved anyone this way. Everything about him is perfect as far as Luke is concerned, every last detail of who he is and the way he's made up, the physical components that have created this man. Luke wants nothing more than to just stay wrapped around him, drowning in the scents and the smells that make him who he is. His eyes are squeezed shut tight and he's gasping for air himself, groaning against Reid's shoulder as sweat rolls down his temple and into his beard.

Those whispered words are more than enough. Luke's hips thrust up once more, pressing his cock into the heat of Reid's body, and then he's coming with a cry, a sound that's nearly Reid's name, a strangled, choked off noise that barely makes it out of his throat. "Spencer," he breathes, managing a full word with the second attempt, and his arms tighten around his boyfriend, holding him close, keeping him there as he buries himself into him, coming with the rolling sort of pleasure he'd really never felt before this relationship. He feels frozen like this, breathless and unable to move, but if he has to be frozen in any position, this really is by far the best, wrapped up in everything that makes Reid who he is. He's warm and trembling and Luke lets out a long, shuddering breath and buries his nose in the curls at the back of Reid's skull.

The fact that Reid can get up at all is rather impressive and Luke lets out his own sound of displeasure when he slips free of his boyfriend's body, wanting nothing more than to retain the closeness and the warmth of being pressed so tightly together. Luke himself doesn't feel capable of doing much more than dragging the blanket up over his body again so that whoever has come to the door to deliver their food doesn't get an eyeful. Despite their best attempts, Luke thinks it's still rather obvious what they've been up to. Both of them are disheveled, Reid's hair in particular tousled in exactly the right way that makes it look as if he'd just been on his back in bed not too long ago, and his skin is still shining with a sheen of sweat. All in all, he paints a lovely picture that makes Luke smile, and he doesn't even care if the person at the door knows what they've been doing. He isn't ashamed to be able to engage in a healthy and happy sexual relationship with this incredible man and by the time Reid has wheeled the cart into their room, Luke has managed to pull himself into a sitting position against the pillows, the sheets still pooled around his waist.

"That's nice of them," Luke says, glancing at the chocolates briefly before he digs into the breakfast on the plate Reid has handed him. The box is small, but it looks as if it's likely filled with relatively expensive chocolates and while Luke doesn't have a particular sweet tooth most of the time, he imagines they'll both find the time to enjoy those once they've finished eating their meal. Chocolate is an exception and when it comes to the more expensive varieties, Luke had been taught more than one lesson about them by Clary or Jocelyn over the years. He's learned to appreciate good chocolate and finds he's actually looking forward to being able to share this box with Reid over the course of the day.

Now, though, he has bacon and eggs and his naked boyfriend in bed beside him, which is really all he can ask for in this world. He's comfortable and content, his muscles loose and relaxed and although he's still only partly awake, he's no longer certain that's due to sleep and thinks it's entirely because Reid has just worn him out. At least temporarily. The day is long and Luke is quite in love and he imagines there's a good number of ways in which he can find a reservoir or two of energy. Especially when it comes to the man sitting next to him in bed. Being here should be surreal, it's a life he truly never imagined he would have, but here they are and it doesn't actually feel surreal at the end of it all. It feels so firmly rooted in reality, like nothing in Luke's life has ever been more solid, more dependable and more true than this, and he smiles as he bites into a piece of bacon, never quite able to take his eyes off Reid's face.

All those months ago when they had first met, Luke had only ever expected to be friends. As his feelings had grown, he'd convinced himself nothing more could come of it but friendship and he would have managed had that been true. Maybe they wouldn't have been here, but he trusts that Reid wouldn't have just forgotten about him, that their friendship would have grown strong and it would have been just as solid as their romantic relationship has proven to be. It's the foundation of why they work so well, that friendship, and Luke leans over suddenly, pressing a kiss to Reid's cheek before he returns to his meal and his much needed coffee.

"I like the idea of something like this more than gifts and flowers," he admits, looking around their room. "Though I do also like flowers. It's just that this is an experience, something for us to remember as our first Valentine's Day together. It means more to me than a card would have." He smiles again and glances at Reid as he takes a sip of his coffee. Whatever is on his mind, it sounds rather serious and Reid looks nervous, but Luke can't imagine it's anything bad. Not after the morning they've just had and the meal they're having now, both of them relaxed and content. "What is it? Anything."

It doesn't take Luke long to pick up on where this is going and he listens with rapt attention, absently eating his breakfast as Reid speaks. He's thought about their future himself more than a few times, considered what they might do together beyond the scope of sharing a home. Ever since he was old enough to realize what it meant to be a family, to love someone and marry them and raise children, Luke has wanted that. He realizes sometimes he's wanted it to the point of desperation, that asking Jocelyn to marry him when they were still just children themselves -- and when she was married to Valentine -- had been a clutching, pathetic attempt to cling to something he'd never really had. His own family had broken apart long before he was even able to make real memories of them and he's wanted one of his own so badly for such a long time that he realizes all his attempts at finding one haven't been for the best.

But then he'd met Reid. Suddenly everything had slowed down and for the first time in his life, he'd been able to appreciate everything he had, every little moment of their experiences together without worrying about holding on so tightly for fear of losing it again. He'd crushed Jocelyn, smothered her in his need for family, he sees that now, but he also sees it's because he hadn't trusted her. After Valentine, trust had been so hard to come by, after Amatis had broken his heart, it had felt next to impossible. With Reid it's always been so simple. Right from the start, he's been able to trust him without the slightest sliver of fear, and so in the past few weeks and months he's allowed himself to consider the future and what it might mean for the two of them here in Darrow.

Of course it's Reid who finds the courage to speak about it, though. It's always Reid who has that unending source of bravery Luke can't seem to access himself, and he doesn't resent it in the slightest. He finds it inspiring, it makes him love Reid even more than he had the moment before, knowing that his boyfriend, at the end of it all, will always be the hero. Luke might be the warrior, he might be trained to fight and protect, but it's Reid who chose it. Luke was born into this life, Reid picked it, and he shows Luke all the reasons why he's so well suited to it every single day.

He's still eating when Reid reaches out to take his hand, a piece of toast halfway to his mouth, then bitten into and chewed. His hand falls to the box of chocolates next and he takes one without thought, his gaze still on Reid's face, the act of eating more mechanical than anything else at this moment, his entire focus on his boyfriend, hearing his words and listening to what it is he wants to discuss. Chewing the chocolate, then swallowing, he finds he's nodding at the same time, because he doesn't even need to wait for Reid to finish speaking for him to know it's something he wants to talk about. It's a conversation he would very much like to have. Children are perhaps beyond them at this point and Luke is okay with that, he thinks he's found a very happy family here in Darrow, but marriage... that's still something they can consider.

"Yes," he says, then clears his throat and has to take a sip of his coffee again, his mouth suddenly dry even after having eaten the chocolate. "I'd very much like to discuss that." Reid isn't asking Luke to marry him now and he's quite comfortable with that, because part of what makes their relationship so easy is that they talk to each other first. They have these discussions, they make plans, and Luke knows nothing else would fit them quite so well. It's in their nature and it makes him comfortable, knowing they'll be able to talk about this, too. Like everything. "I've thought about it, too. I'm... yes. I'm very open to the discussion."

Luke almost kicks a plate over in his eagerness to let Reid lay him back among the pillows and he wraps his arms around him, taking the chocolate when it's offered to him and chewing it thoughtfully. He feels buoyant, as if he might be able to simply float away on his happiness if Reid were to let him up, and he's smiling, wanting nothing more than to lean in and find Reid's mouth with his own again and just kiss him until neither of them can breathe. This is meant to be a conversation, just as they've discussed nearly everything else about their relationship, coming to an understanding about what they both want, and he loves that about what they have together. He loves so much that they've found this level of comfort and are able to really be honest about their feelings and their desires. At the same time, though, they're in a terribly comfortable bed and Reid is lying on top of him, and Luke would very much like to interrupt their discussion for another kiss or ten.

"Yes," he says. "I've always wanted a wedding. When I... Shadowhunters don't get married in the traditional sense, but there is a ceremony. The runes marking our clothes would have been gold, the rings we exchanged would have been our family rings and there are runes for marriage. Permanent runes, one to be marked over our hearts and one on our arm. When I was growing up, I spent... hours with my family ring, turning it over in my hands, imagining what it would be like to give it to someone one day." He laughs and shakes his head in amusement, knowing his behaviour wasn't typical of any Shadowhunters. Marriage was looked upon as important and significant, but it was still a union, not unlike that of the parabatai and Shadowhunters didn't look at it the same way it was looked at by mundanes. But that's what Luke had always wanted. Discovering mundanes and Downworlders celebrated marriages in such lush, extravagant ways had been exciting to Luke.

He doesn't have his family ring any longer. It had been left behind at his home in Alicante when his sister had chased him out and he hasn't seen it since. He hasn't been a Graymark in a long time, not in the strictest sense of belonging, but the thought of giving Reid his family ring is still something he quite likes the idea of. Maybe he'll be able to have one made, a decent replica if he can properly describe what the crest looks like to a jewelry maker in the city.

"That isn't the ceremony I want," he assures Reid, his hands roaming over his boyfriend's back. It's funny, because as much as he wants to have this conversation, he can feel himself growing distracted. Reid's skin is so so warm under his hands and Luke can feel every movement, the slightest tensing and flexing of his muscles as he shifts on the bed. His hips want to roll closer to Reid, he wants that friction, he wants to flip him over and rub against him until he's hard again, and the very thought sends a tingle of pleasure racing down Luke's spine, one that turns into a shiver he works hard to suppress so Reid doesn't think he's losing interest in their conversation. It's something he very much wants to talk about, but he also very much wants to fuck his boyfriend over and over for the rest of the day. He wants to drag him into the shower and fill the tub with water and let Reid fuck him, too, and the very thought makes his throat dry up and his breath steal from him.

"But I... I do want a ceremony," he says, his voice cracking. "I'd like that, having everyone we care about there with us, being able to have a party afterward. I'll even wear a suit for you, I promise, and it won't be flannel."

It doesn't surprise Luke much at all that they agree, they're similar men in many regards. They're both grounded and he knows they want many of the same things, which is just a part of why their relationship has worked so well thus far and why he doesn't imagine that changing at all. People have all kinds of cliched remarks when it comes to relationships and the one Luke has truly never understood is the idea that opposites attract. While that may be true for the initial stages of a relationship, he can't imagine meeting someone truly his opposite in every way and wanting to spend his life with them. That very statement would be impossible, because if someone were his opposite, they wouldn't want the same things as Luke, they wouldn't want a marriage and a wedding and a family. It's important to have similar goals, to see the same sorts of things as being significant, and Luke knows he's found that with Reid.

There's a strange sense of arousal mixing with the elation he feels at having had this conversation at all, though maybe strange isn't the right word. It's just that Luke is feeling closer and closer to a loss of control, not in any way that might be particularly dangerous or threatening, but the closest comparison he has to what he feels right now is the night of the super moon, the night he and Reid had slept together for the first time. That evening the moon had still felt like it'd had its hooks in him, clawing at his skin, making it impossible for him to resist the urges of the wolf, the instincts he's usually perfectly capable of ignoring. The only thing he'd wanted that night was to run and to bury himself in Reid's scent and the only difference today is that Reid is all he wants. It's not the moon this time, it's only the two of them, and Luke doesn't know how much longer he'll be able to deny it.

He's trying so hard to focus on what Reid is saying because he knows it's important, he can hear Reid's words, the sound of his voice, the significance of that admission and he wants to just reassure him, make him understand Luke will never want anyone else. They can both have this now, they can be together and find happiness and live with someone who understands them and loves them not despite any flaws they may have, but because of them. His lips part to speak, but all that comes out of him is a broken, shuddering breath, and his lets his hands slide down Reid's both until he's anchored at his hips again, just holding onto his boyfriend, grounding himself in that situation. It's not right for him to only be thinking about sex in a moment like this, but Luke is already hard again, he can feel himself straining toward Reid, wanting nothing more than the warmth of him in any way he can get.

And he's still entirely caught up in the idea of Reid being the one to fuck him, of being pushed down among the pillows or pressed against the wall or bent over that desk in the corner. He's never understood the purpose of desks in hotel rooms before, he's wondered how many people actually use them, and now he can think of a hundred ways in which it can be used today, all of them involving Reid slowly fucking him against it.

Luke's skin feels like it's on fire, hot and sensitive to the slightest touch, and when Reid leans forward, he arches up slightly, whining softly when he can't quite get close enough for a kiss. His boyfriend is still speaking and Luke knows he needs to answer, but the only thing on his mind is touching Reid and being touched by him. Hands and skin and lips and tongues and flashes of teeth, and he groans a little louder, then rakes his blunt nails up over Reid's back and buries one hand in his hair.

"I will never love anyone the way I love you," he finally manages to say, his voice hoarse. "And I will never want to spend my life with anyone but you and I'm going to need you to fuck me today, Spencer. I'm going to need that. I can't... I need..." But his train of thought is completely gone again and he's truly surprised he managed to get that much out without losing himself. He struggles on the bed slightly, then presses up as he brings Reid down at the same time, kissing him hard and desperate, moaning into his mouth. Luke has no idea what's happened to him in the last few minutes, but he certainly has no complaints.

Luke doesn't know what it is, if it's the talk about marriage or just simply the fact that they're here and together and in love, but whatever the case, he feels it burning through him, completely out of his control. He wouldn't refer to it as being a negative in any means, but he does feel a little beyond what he's ever felt before, the sensation of being needy and too warm and desperate for Reid in every possible way. He's felt like this before, he's wanted Reid more than he's ever wanted anyone before in his life, but this is a new sensation. This is something that feels out of his control not unlike his experiences with the moon and Luke shivers helplessly at the onslaught of Reid's words, the way they seem to land like actual physical pinpricks of electricity against his skin.

If asked to describe this, he isn't sure he'd be able to. He's felt this way before, only with Reid, but it's somehow more. Bigger and stronger and more overwhelming, like his control has been stripped, like he's at the mercy of the basest parts of himself, and all he can do is be thankful that Reid truly doesn't seem to mind. There are so many times during their relationship that Luke has felt like Reid is introducing him to something new, something previously unknown, something wonderful that's just been waiting until the two of them meet, but this is exceptional. It's like he's been broken open, everything inside him that loves Reid exposed to the air, sensitive and wanting.

Desperate to speak, to tell Reid how amazing that sounds, how badly he wants this, Luke finds himself completely speechless, incapable of saying a single word. His mouth falls open, his lips parting, but no intelligible sound comes out, just a desperate little whimper as Reid's tongue sweeps over his nipple. Letting his hands roam, his fingers press against Reid's skin, massaging into his muscles and his entire body arches off the bed, lifting and pressing closer and seeking as much skin on skin contact as he can possibly get. He feels like he's going to burn up, like he's about to go to pieces under Reid's lips and fingers and promises.

"It's not just talking about marriage," he finally manages to gasp. "It's you. Just you. Always you." Whatever else is working in their favour right now, that will always be true. There's never been anyone else who's made him feel this way, no one else who's touched him like this, who's made him feel this good, this mindless. It takes every bit of Luke's self restraint not to just grab Reid and flip him over in the bed, but he very much meant what he'd said and he wants to feel his boyfriend inside him today. Now, if possible. There's preparation they have to do, of course, he knows they'll have to take things slow, but he's done whatever he can to make sure, when the time comes that, it won't be quite so difficult and he hopes it's going to prove to have paid off today.

"God," he breathes, running his hands down Reid's back, over the curve of his ass. "Please, please..." He doesn't even realize he's begging, the words whispered into the air as his back arches again.

By the time Reid asks him if everything is okay, Luke has genuinely lost all ability to speak. His hands have found their way to the sheets on either side of his body and his fingers are twisted in them so tightly that they've come untucked from around the edges, barely able to anchor him in the way he's looking for them to do. At first it had been Reid's words, the indication that he wants to make use of the desk, which Luke is more than eager to agree to, and would in a second if he were capable of doing anything but lying on the bed with his legs spread, his eyes wide and staring up at the ceiling without really seeing anything at all. There's heat trembling through him, rippling through every last bit of his body, through each limb, down to the tips of his toes and his fingers and even up along his scalp. He can feel his skin practically singing with pleasure, prickling and tingling as his blood rushes south. What Reid is doing is far more than just okay and he opens his mouth to say as much, but the only sound that comes out is a strangled moan.

Wildly, he wonders if Reid truly expects him to be able to speak or if the question is rhetorical, if he's trying to tease Luke, but when he manages to list his head, it looks as if Reid is serious and Luke finally manages something more than a moan, a hoarse laugh slipping out of him. "Spencer, my god," he says and then laughs again, digging his heels into the mattress and spreading his legs wider to better accommodate his boyfriend, because what he's just been doing is possibly the most incredible thing Luke has ever felt. There's nothing about his body that ways he wants Reid to stop and every movement, every shift and arch of his back is only encouragement to go on. "Yes, it's okay. My god, yes, it's more than okay."

He doesn't know what part of his body to pay attention to. Under other circumstances, it might be overwhelming, feeling all this all at once, but Luke is focused enough on the sensation that he's aware he can take this all. All he needs is for Reid to give him what he wants and since his boyfriend has already begun to do exactly that, Luke's quite content to imagine he might feel like this for the rest of the day. Always right on the verge of tumbling over the edge and yet never quite there, brought closer and closer by Reid's talented hands and mouth, his pleasure mounting more and more with each passing moment, but always waiting. Always wanting more. Always knowing what's going to come next, that eventually they're going to move over to that desk and Reid is going to bend him over and take him.

The mere thought pulls another groan rumbling out of Luke and he would beg if he could, but his vocabulary has fled from him again, left him speechless and silent save for the moans Reid is bringing out of him. Hotels are never nearly soundproof enough and if he were more aware of himself, he would make the effort not to be so loud, but everything Reid does to him is driving him out of his mind with pleasure and he's only dimly aware of their surroundings, every last bit of him focused on his own body and the way it feels when Reid touches him.

"You," he gasps, then twitches on the bed, his heels slipping before he digs them in more firmly and manages to anchor himself. "Spencer, god, you make me feel incredible."

Usually Luke finds his eyes squeezed shut tightly when he's this close to coming, everything too overwhelming for him to focus on anything but whatever Reid is doing to him, but he can't seem to do anything but stare blindly up at the ceiling and try to wrap his mind around all the sensations he's feeling right now. Something has happened to him, something has been done to him, and he's entirely content to rest all the blame of Reid's wonderful shoulders, because Luke knows he's never felt like this before. He's never had someone care for him like this before, he's never been able to trust someone to love him so completely, not since he was kicked out of Alicante, out of his home, and if that's what is doing this to him, then he's pleased to know it's never going to stop. Whatever it is, however Reid has gotten him this wound up, Luke also feels like it's never going to end, not today, not even when he comes, which he's terribly close to already.

"Spencer," he breathes and he realizes he's near to whispering without even being able to explain why. His hands are still clenched tightly in the sheets and he wants to say more, wants to do more, but it feels like a relatively large part of his brain has just shorted out entirely and is refusing to let him comprehend any of what's going on. Everything inside him just keeps returning to Reid, to how important he is, to what a significant part of Luke's life he's become. They both have so much going for them, they both have careers they enjoy, good friends and even family, but whenever Luke thinks about what makes him truly happen in Darrow, it always returns to Reid. At the moment, the only thing he can think about is how good he feels right in this moment, how perfect everything is and how much he wants to make it last all day. Or maybe the rest of their lives. Reid wants to marry him, after all, he wants to commit himself to Luke in that way and it's that thought that manages to clear through the aroused haze in his mind.

It's the only thought that manages to make it through and then only just. Because Reid's hand is wrapped around his cock, his tongue is in his ass, and Luke is trembling, pleasure rippling through his body. He feels helpless, completely out of control, more deeply surrendered to someone than he's ever been before and it's that thought that sends him tumbling closer to the edge. This is it for him. This is it. This is utter perfection and he wants to reach for Reid and hold him close, but he's barely able to breathe. Making himself move, making his hands work, he knows that's utterly impossible.

He's going to come soon. He's so close, he can feel it building, that tension inside him, the way it makes his entire body feel as if it's pulling tight. He's breathing so hard that his chest is heaving, but he still can't manage to make much noise, Spencer's name spilling out of him over and over at barely more than a whisper. Arching his back, pressing closer, Luke all but freezes when Reid's tongue presses deeper, swipes over sensitive skin, and then he groans, his voice finally breaking out of his throat, the sound long and loud.

"Spencer," he says, his muscle trembling. "Spencer, please, I'm... I'm so close, I'm..." But he's more than just close, he's right here, right on the edge and all his boyfriend has to do is twist his hand in just the right way and Luke is coming, wracked with it, his muscles tensing nearly to the point of pain. He lets out a strangled cry, gasping for air, riding the wave of pleasure and his eyes are still wide open, still staring up at the ceiling, seeing nothing.

Luke is fairly certain he's never going to recover. As he lies on the bed, the aftershocks of his orgasm still rolling through him, his cock sensitive where Reid has only just had his mouth, his body still absolutely tingling with pleasure, he thinks he could probably die as a result of something like this because what Reid does to him, how he makes him feel, it's absolutely perfect. His muscles are completely exhausted, wrung out and spent, but he also knows it isn't going to last forever. Even as he thinks he'll never recover, he knows he will, because the very thought of Reid taking him over to that desk is enough to make another little shiver of pleasure ripple through his body. There's going to be a little bit longer recovery time, he's going to need more than just a moment, but Luke also knows it isn't that far off and the very thought makes him feel like he's never felt before.

He's never done anything like that, not with anyone, and it doesn't come as a surprise to him that Reid is the only person he's ever going to trust with something like this. It feels a little bit like giving himself over entirely, opening himself up to a completely new experience, and of course it's Reid he's going to do this with. No one else could even come close because no one else has ever loved him like this. He's always been a bit of a romantic and he's always wanted the sort of relationship that seems to defy words, but he's a realist, too. Luke has wanted the fairy tale romance, but expected a more pragmatic sort of relationship, one where things are discussed and the reality of every day life makes the other things just a little bit less romantic, but what he had never quite bargained for was a man like Reid. Someone with whom he could have both that romance and the every day life things, yet never have one make the other any less important. In fact, with Reid, talking about work and their apartment and whether or not they should start saving a little bit more in case Alec or Isabelle were to ever need some help financially makes everything else better. He'd never realized that such a thing could be true.

When Reid speaks, Luke finds himself laughing, a low rumble that starts low in his chest and builds. It's not a hysterical sort of laugh, it isn't even very loud, but it's a reflection of how good he feels in this moment as he reaches down and smooths his hands over the back of Reid's neck and across the expanse of his shoulders. He feels like home given physical form, the safest Luke has ever felt, the most content he's ever been, and somehow the only way he has to communicate these feelings in this moment is this low laughter he can't quite control.

"It isn't going to take very long with you speaking to me like that," he murmurs and already he can feel the spark of arousal growing inside him. Even if his body isn't quite ready to respond yet, he feels it, like he's felt it all morning, almost as if he's unable control it, but he doesn't think Reid particularly minds. In fact, he think the fact that they've done almost nothing today but have sex is something the two of them should be rather proud of. That they've also had a serious conversation about marriage only cements the idea in Luke's mind that they should spend the rest of the day having sex to celebrate what they've both already known for some time, it seems. That they want to spend the rest of their lives together.

"Come here," he murmurs, holding his arms out toward Reid, because he knows having his boyfriend in his arms and being able to feel the hard press of his cock against his hip is going to more than help Luke get where he needs to be for them to get up and move away from the bed. "You're incredible, Spencer. I love you so much."

As much as he's been convinced he'll never be able to recover from the incredible things Reid has just done to him, all it takes is his boyfriend asking if they can move to get Luke going and he shifts on the bed, moving a little, although Reid is still stretched out on top of him. His body is so incredibly warm and the weight of him is one of the most comfortable things Luke has ever felt, but he's thinking about the desk now, he's thinking about what it's going to be like to finally have Reid inside of him, and he's more than happy to get moving for the end result. Lifting his head, he presses a slow kiss to Reid's mouth, then flashes a smile as he pulls away and then manages to get himself into a sitting position on the bed. His hands roam over Reid's back and then he nudges his boyfriend away gently, so he can swing his legs off the bed and test them out for a moment before he decides they're capable of holding him. They're still shaking a little, but he thinks he can hardly be blamed for that when he still feels like Reid is touching him.

"I think we can do that," he says, pushing himself to his feet, though he needs to hold onto the wall for just a second. Then he walks toward the desk across the room and rests his hands against the top for a moment. Carefully, he moves the chair aside, knowing it's only going to get in their way once they get going, knowing they're going to just end up knocking it over if it's still in the way in a few minutes and he doesn't want to cause more noise than they're already going to, he doesn't want to draw any unwanted attention to their room when all he wants is to spend the rest of the day with Reid and not having to answer to anyone or anything else.

Even with his height, the desk is actually a good size for the two of them, at least from what he can tell at this point, and his hands roam over the top of the desk, leaning forward a little bit. It's good he can use the desk to support his weight, especially when he looks over his shoulder at Reid and finds himself robbed nearly breathless by the sight of his boyfriend looking back at him. He's never known anyone who wants him like this, he's never had anyone else look at him like this, and even after all these months, he sometimes doesn't know quite what to do with it. He almost can't believe that need and that want and that love are all directed at him. For such a long time he'd thought himself generally unworthy of love like this, but here they are, and when Reid looks at him like this, Luke feels like he could do absolutely anything in the world. He feels, for the first time, like he truly belongs somewhere.

"I want you," he murmurs and another deep shiver runs through his body. He knows that can't be a surprise, but he still wants it said. He wants Reid to know how much he wants him, how badly he wants him and how ready he is for this. They're so good to each other, he knows it isn't going to hurt, he knows Reid is going to take care of him and he's ready for it to happen.

The feel of Reid's cock pressing against his ass causes Luke to freeze, not because it's intrusive or unwelcome, but because even just that, that simple feeling, it's more than enough to cause a rush of burning arousal through his body, more than enough to remind him about what's about to happen. He shivers deeply, all the muscles along his back tensing and then relaxing suddenly as Reid presses him down closer to the desk. Before becoming a werewolf, Luke's romantic relationships had basically been nonexistent, there had been just one girl, another Shadowhunter, that he'd been physically intimate with, and so there are times when he wonders if part of who he is in bed is due to being a werewolf. He's always been a dominant man without ever trying to be and there are times when he's wondered if that's just because of this thing that had happened to him, if he's unable to give over control to people because of the wolf inside him that still wants to be an alpha. He's only ever been this man when it comes to physical relationships and it's only now with Reid that he's found himself able to explore other options and remind himself he wasn't always this way.

With Reid, it's so easy to just give up control. It's astonishing, really, how simple it is for him to turn his head and rest his cheek against the smooth, cool desktop and just wait. He remembers the night of the super moon, how he'd felt like nothing could ever satisfy him but Reid, how he'd wanted to just take him and feel his warmth and own him in every possible way. There had been a possessiveness about him and he knows he never would have allowed himself to follow that if Reid hadn't been comfortable with him, he knows he never would have really allowed it to come out, but Reid had trusted him and so Luke had been able to be himself. He's always thought of himself as a leader, an alpha, and now, in this moment, he finds it's so easy to just forget that all and hand himself over to Reid completely.

He can submit. He can give himself over in a way he's never known before. Nothing about Reid's ability to surprise him should surprise him anymore and he laughs a little, though the sound slides into a groan as he feels Reid's slick fingers pressing against his ass. They're rubbing against him and it feels different than how Reid's tongue had felt, but no less amazing and he moans softly, pressing back against Reid. It's going to be slow going, he can feel that already, but it doesn't matter. There's a part of him that thinks he could do this all day, just be here with Reid and let him press his fingers slowly into his ass, preparing him for everything else that's to come and in a second he realizes he can't do this all day because he needs everything else. He needs to feel Reid inside him in the most intimate way possible.

"Spencer," he breathes, another shiver running through him. He can feel goosebumps chasing across his skin, over his back, his arms, everywhere his skin is exposed to the air. The hotel room is kept cool enough, which is a benefit to them right now, given how physical they've been and how much they're planning on doing, but right now it makes Luke feel like everything is conflicting. His skin is cool where Reid isn't pressed up against him, but he's warm everywhere else, on fire where Reid's hand is on his back, warm where his finger is slowly thrusting into him, working him open. "God, Spencer, you... I can't wait. I can't wait to feel you."

A trembling sort of moan slips out of Luke when Reid presses a third finger inside his body and he turns his head, pressing his forehead hard against the desk to brace himself there. Even with the faintest sting of pain, there's nothing about this he isn't enjoying and the knowledge that they have all afternoon only serves to make it better, because it means Reid can work at him slowly, stretching his body, making it easier with every passing thrust and every single time his fingers slip deeper into Luke's ass, another little moan escapes, the sounds desperate and wanting, rumbling through him. He almost laughs when Reid speaks, because it's the very same thing Luke wishes every single time they're intimate. When they're together, the way Reid's face lights up, the way his mouth falls open, the swell of his lower lip, all of it just renders Luke completely speechless and he finds himself wishing Reid could see himself like this. If only he knew how incredible he really was, if only he could see, because Luke knows when he speaks, he doesn't do any of Reid's beauty justice. He can't capture it, he'll never be able to, and so he can only hope that Reid one day sees himself through his boyfriend's eyes.

"You," he breathes, but he doesn't manage to get out anymore than that, instead pushing back against Reid's fingers with a soft whine. He's ready, he knows he is, and he knows Reid can tell, but when his fingers slip free of his body, he still lets out a low sound of disappointment, despite knowing what else is coming now, despite looking forward to every moment stretching out ahead of them. It feels like it should be impossible, but his dick hangs against the edge of the desk, working its way back toward hard. There's something about this place or this day, something special that seems to be working its magic on Luke, and he has absolutely no issue with it whatsoever. When he wakes up tomorrow, he imagines he might be a little sore, but that's a small price to pay for this incredible experience.

He doesn't even need to say he's ready, not when his body pushes back of its own accord as soon as he feels Reid's cock pressing against him once more. This is what he's been waiting for and it isn't that Luke is an all or nothing sort of man, he's more than perfectly happy to spend all day sucking Reid's cock if that's what he were to ask for, but this... this is something new, it's something special between the two of them. It always feels like they're exploding new areas and new parts of their relationship and Luke knows, as he always does, that he's never trusted anyone like this. He's never given himself over as completely as he has with Reid. There has been other relationships, other people, and Luke has never thought of himself as having had bad relationships, but the reality is just that nothing compares. He would say he'd never compare Reid to anyone, but that's just not true at all. Everyone is compared to Reid now. Everyone is held to the same standard, everyone is expected to be as good and kind and brilliant as he is and Luke knows that isn't fair, but he can't help it when Reid has been so wonderful right from the start.

And everyone in Luke's past has been compared to him now, too. Every person he's gone to bed with has been considered and not one has held a candle to Reid. He knows that's at least partly due to how much he loves this man, but that isn't all of it. They simply connect in a way he's never had with anyone else before.

"Spencer," he breathes, curling his fingers around the edge of the desk as he feels his boyfriend pushing deeper into his body. He'd never realized it would feel like this, this fullness and this sense of being nearly owned by someone else, but he loves it. He lifts his hips, silently begging for more.

A deep shiver of pleasure ripples down Luke's spine when he realizes that Reid is as deep inside his body as he can go. They stay like that for a long moment and he can feel his body adjusting to the size of his boyfriend's cock, a feeling that fills him with an almost giddy sense of intimacy the likes of which he's never known. The desk is still cool against his skin, but he can feel the way it begins to warm up as he's pressed against it and he reaches out with both his hands, curling over them against either edge of the desk as another warm surge of arousal goes through him. No one has ever known how to touch him the way Reid does and he almost whimpers with joy when Reid's fingers brush over his cock and then slide over the sensitive skin of his balls. Had he not just come not all that long ago, he thinks he might be in danger of losing complete control just from that touch alone.

"Spencer," he breathes again, his voice hoarse and choked off. He can feel Reid's tongue against his skin, the way their bodies are pressed so tightly together, and he arches back again, searching for more. There's still a faint edge of pain, but it's easy enough for Luke to ignore that, knowing it's just his body stretching, opening itself up for Reid, welcoming him. It's almost as if they're meant to fit together like this, a feeling Luke has gotten more than once during their time together, and he smiles briefly before his lips part and a low moan escapes. Reid has pulled back, thrusting into him, and it feels as if there are fireworks going off behind his eyelids, filling him up with pleasure and desire both. This is all so new to him and it doesn't surprise him in the slightest that he's experiencing it with Reid. There has been so much of their relationship that's new between them, so much Luke has never done before, and he loves that he's somehow managed to save these things for this man.

They're going to get married eventually, one thing Luke has always wanted, and even just thinking that now fills him with the kind of joy he used to assume was just lost to him. In the years before Darrow he had still pinned so much hope on Jocelyn, he'd still been waiting for her in a good number of ways, and while he's long since realized it was unfair to her, he's only just begun to realize it was unfair to him, too. That he deserved to find someone who loved him entirely, someone who didn't feel the need to hold back because they were worried he might take something the wrong way. He'd been blind to any other possibilities until he'd met Reid and now all he can do is thank his lucky stars he'd managed to end up here.

"Please," he manages to moan, arching back again, seeking more. He feels a little like he's lost the ability to speak, to tell Reid just how good he feels, how much more he wants, but he trusts his boyfriend to understand what he's trying to communicate all the same. The pain has all but disappeared now and Luke wants more of this. He needs more.

That's it, that's all it takes, he doesn't even make it to Reid telling him he needs to come first. As soon as he feels Reid's fingers wrapping around his cock, stroking him in time with his thrusts, as soon as he hears Reid murmuring those words -- I love fucking you -- Luke can feel his orgasm building and he knows there's no possible hope of putting it off any longer. How he's managing to come again is entirely beyond him, it feels almost like it's magical, like this place has done something impossible to him, but he can feel it, the familiar and overwhelming ripples of pleasure, the heat that sits low in his belly and builds slowly until it's no longer embers, but a roaring flame, the tightening of the muscles in his thighs and along his spine, everything pulling taut until he feels like he might snap with the tension. His fingers tighten over the edge of the desk, clutching at it tightly, desperately, wishing it could hold him down and anchor him somehow, but he's long gone, crashing toward the edge and then tumbling over under Reid's talented hand.

"Spencer," he groans and his voice is barely recognizable to his ears, a desperate sort of breath more than anything. He's trembling, his entire body is shaking, and then he's coming into Reid's hand, his muscles spasming, tightening, and suddenly Reid feels even bigger inside him, impossibly huge, terribly deep, and all he knows is it's the most wonderful sensation of his life. Reid has taken complete control and the way he's grabbed Luke and hauled him back against him, the way he's stroking his cock now, how deep he feels inside Luke's body, it's all so perfect. He's more than happy to give that control away, to let himself be treated this way, because it feels a little like being worshipped, and another shiver of pleasure undulates down his back again at the thought.

And now that he's come again, all he can do is collapse forward on the desk and let Reid use him however else he'd like. His hands are still curled over the edges of the desk, keeping himself from falling right off, but he can feel his body beginning to loosen, his muscles relaxing, and he grunts softly as Reid thrusts into him again and thinks about how perfect he feels. How he could stay here for the rest of his life, content in this moment, how he would never need anything else. Nothing more than Reid and this intimacy and this closeness they have together that he's never felt with anyone else.

"Spencer," he breathes again and it's more of a request this time. Reid had wanted to feel him come first and now Luke wants him to return that sensation. He wants to know what it's like for someone to come inside him, but not just anyone, this man. He wants to know how it feels to be filled in such a way, to know no one else has ever done this and no one else ever will. Reid will only ever be the only person to be with Luke in this way and he breathes out hard, then says, "Please."

"Hm, bath," Luke murmurs in a low voice and although being pressed up against the desk isn't exactly comfortable now that they've both finished, he still can't help the little shiver of disappointment that sneaks through him when Reid slips free of his body. There's no reason to be disappointed, he knows they're going to do this again, he knows he can't possibly live without it now that he's experienced, but at the same time there's a little, completely illogical part of himself that just doesn't want this moment to end. They can't stay this way forever, it's just not possible for so many reasons, but Luke can't help but want it all the same. If they just stay here, pressed together, Reid warm and strong against his back, then he knows nothing can ever touch them. Nothing but love and affection and desire and laughter will ever be in their lives again.

But Reid is helping him up and Luke turns, allowing himself to be maneuvered, since he doesn't think he can move on his own just yet, and his arms slide around Reid's waist, his hands settling against the small of his back and he thinks he'd be content to do anything right now. Bed, bath, lie on the floor, there's nothing that wouldn't be entirely enjoyable because they're together. It's the only thing Luke needs. They've talked about it, they're going to get married, spend the rest of their lives together, and for Luke, it's the only thing in the world that matters right now.

Since he's already said bath, though, he begins to plod slowly in the direction of the bathroom and once he's moving, once he's in the bathroom and he takes a look at the big, sprawling tub that came with their room, he's reminded all over again that this is a good idea. Leaning over the edge, he turns on the taps until the water is nice and warm, then opens one of the bottles that had been left for them beside the tub and dumbs the contents in, watching as the sweet smelling bubbles grow higher and higher.

"It's possible I put in too much bubble bath," he comments offhandedly, but he has no problem with that at all. The scent is lovely, not too overpowering, even with his heightened senses, and Luke feels drained in the best possible sense of the word. He glances back at Reid, then smiles as he steps over the edge of the tub and sinks into the scented water. The bubbles rise and billow around his shoulders, making him laugh, but he finds a place to sit and relaxes into the corner, then raises one hand and gestures for Reid to join him. Even though the two of them are awfully tall, the tub has more than enough room for the both of them, which Luke appreciates. He wants to luxuriate in this and enjoy every last moment of their time together here.
