a very mess-y valentine's day
When Reid wakes up on Valentine's Day morning, it's without a single regret. Nestled against the warmth of his boyfriend's body, he stifles a yawn as he blinks against the rays of the sunrise that peek through the curtains before smiling to himself and settling his cheek back down against Luke's chest.
They'd arrived at Kagura after Luke had closed the bookstore for the weekend and aside from going out to dinner at the lodge's main restaurant, they haven't spent much time outside of their room. Reid has no complaints, of course, considering a great deal of the past twenty-four hours have consisted of lazing in bed, alternating between making love, napping, and ordering room service. They can't be blamed, it's a busy weekend at Kagura because it's the only so-called destination setting in the city so there seem to be a lot of other couples who'd had the same idea they had to go on a romantic weekend getaway. Luke had suggested it months ago but they've both been so busy with work that it hadn't made sense to book a room until now.
He's glad for it, though. As much as he could go on about the true history of Valentine's Day, he's never had anyone to celebrate the Hallmark holiday with before. That they can spend this time together without worrying about anyone or anything else is a gift, one he's going to make sure they continue to cherish until they check-out tomorrow afternoon. Besides, there's something he's been meaning to bring up for what feels like ages now, even though it hasn't been that long since he'd mentioned it to Graham. He'd spoken to T.J. about it on New Year's Eve, too, his desire to propose to Luke one day; but Reid knows he and Luke are both pragmatic men. It's in both of their best interests to talk about it, to discuss what they really want for their future, just as they'd talked about who would take Leo if Mindy were to ever disappear from the city.
There are nerves, most certainly, at the prospect of bringing it up. He isn't sure whether it's too early to be talking about this, Reid has no idea what the protocol is on that. All he really knows is that he's deeply in love with the man lying next to him, that he's never loved anyone else as much as this, and he wants to spend the rest of his life with Luke. From the very start of their relationship, they'd made sure to be clear with each other about the fact that neither of them were looking to start something casual. Now that they're nearly six months into their romantic relationship, Reid thinks maybe it would be okay to at least discuss the subject of marriage.
It can at least wait until they've ordered in breakfast, though, and his smile grows wider as Luke stirs beside him. Tracing over the curve of Luke's bare hip, Reid lets out a content hum before tilting his head up to look at his boyfriend. "Morning," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to the edge of Luke's jaw. "Happy Valentine's Day."

"Good morning," he echoes, his voice still gravelly from sleep. "Happy Valentine's Day." It's surreal to be saying that to someone in this specific scenario, but it pulls a shiver out of Luke all the same. He'd never known new experiences this last in life could still prove to be so incredible, but they do. Maybe they even mean more to him now than they might have when he was a young man, but whatever the case, he knows he's lucky that Reid is here with him, that he's the person who's chosen to be with Luke, that together they can have this weekend. That's what matters most at the end of it all. That he's here with the right person, that he thinks they both are.
With a yawn, Luke stretches under the blankets, his spine popping before he curves himself toward Reid and drapes his arm over his waist. They more or less haven't left this bed since their arrival yesterday and while he would very much like to go downstairs and have a nice dinner tonight, besides that, he has every intention of staying right here. Luke's never been a particularly sedentary man and with the energy of the werewolf, he's found himself always relatively busy, moving from place to place, working on the store or the apartment or anything in between, but the prospect of having a weekend where he and Reid have nothing to do but spend time together is far too appealing and he can't find the slightest reason to busy himself with anything else but experiencing their time together. In terms of getting out of bed, he thinks the jacuzzi bathtub might prove itself to be a good reason to climb out from under the covers, but that need isn't particularly pressing either and they have a long day stretched out ahead of them with plenty of hours for them to fill.
"I'm hungry," he mumbles against Reid's chest, then pulls back a little so that he might get a better look at his boyfriend. "Which I'm sure comes as no surprise. It's been about six hours since I've last eaten." He's hungry more often than not, but given their exertions and the fact that he's just slept better than he has in a very long time, Luke isn't at all surprised to find his stomach rumbling at the prospect of breakfast. They'll have to order two for him, at the very least, which he's sure will raise some eyebrows, but he thinks the staff will generally leave them alone.

Tangled limbs, low moans that had grown into shouts that must have been loud enough for their neighboring guests to hear through the walls, strong hands roaming over his body, the contrast of gentle and hard thrusts throughout the evening, it's all enough to turn Reid on all over again. He can feel his cock growing hard already, it twitches against Luke's, impossible to hide, but he lets out a disparaging groan before rolling his hips just slightly. "Food," he says firmly, more to convince himself of what they need, of what Luke needs, and he rolls his hips again before sitting up with a labored sigh. "Okay, food, then I get to have my way with you."
Granted, they may have just enough time to get in a round of sex in the time it takes to get their breakfast delivered to the room, but he supposes he ought to at least get the order in first. He reaches for the menu and the room phone, bringing both onto the mattress so he can lean back against Luke's chest. "What are we having?" he asks, though he's admittedly already memorized the entirety of the menu last night. "There were Belgian waffles with Nutella that sounded good, I might get that." He pauses, lifting a brow and craning his neck to grin up at his boyfriend. "Maybe you can find a better use for the whipped cream. I think I like the sound of that."
Talking like this doesn't get them any closer to the food, he realizes that; but Reid can't often help himself when it comes to being like this with Luke, naked in bed and wrapped up in each other. There's never anywhere he'd rather be than in Luke's arms, and he's already in denial about the fact that when tomorrow afternoon comes, they'll have to leave the lodge and go back to a life that doesn't include spending every waking moment with each other. It's supposed to be a good thing, according to what he's heard other couples say, not being with each other all the time. Reid sees the logic in that, of course he does, and he's always been independent enough a person that he hadn't needed constant company to get through his day. The thing is, he hasn't yet reached the point where he thinks being away from Luke is a good thing, in any sense of the notion, and he suspects that's not going to change anytime soon.
"I'm sorry," he continues, a teasing edge to his tone, "I'll be good at least until after we've eaten, I promise."

"Eggs," he answers in a gruff voice, all without opening his eyes. "Lots of eggs. Lots of bacon." He thinks Reid has said something about having his way with him, but he's the one who's hard already and he's the one with the phone and the menu in his hands, which Luke takes to mean he's going to be the one having his way with Reid. It takes some shuffling, but without dislodging the phone or the menu from Reid's hands, Luke shifts until he's pressing his boyfriend back against the pillows, hovering over him slightly, pressed up against his side. "Orange juice. And coffee. I need lots of coffee." Because he plans on needing to be very awake for the rest of the day, although for now this is more than good enough. He's just coherent enough to realize he's probably going to make things difficult for Reid, but he's also coherent enough to recognize the fun in that and the fact that it's all going to be worthwhile.
So when his boyfriend picks up the phone to call room service, Luke presses another kiss to his chest, then nuzzles softly against his skin as he begins to trace a slow path down the length of Reid's body. Being like this, only partly awake, lazy and warm and happy, it gives Luke the right mindset to really take his time and explore everything he can with a slow sort of dedication. Reid's scent is so familiar, wrapped around him, making him feel as if they're in their own little cocoon that no one could ever possibly break into and he breathes in deeply, then gently bites the skin just over Reid's ribs. It's not nearly hard enough to leave a mark, a slow, playful bite more than anything, but it sends a shiver of pleasure coursing through Luke's body and he knows Reid is on the phone, he knows he needs to stay quiet, but while he's perfectly content not to make much noise himself, he's far from prepared to back off long enough to let Reid give his entire focus to the ordering.
Luke smiles against Reid's stomach, presses kisses to his skin, then nuzzles against the edge of his hip. Moving down his boyfriend's body, disappearing under the sheets, he can feel himself growing warmer and the press of Reid's cock against his chest makes it impossible for him to do anything but roll his own hips against the bed, rubbing himself against the mattress. But he wants to focus on Reid right now.
Shifting, his fingers slowly wrap around the base of Reid's cock and he strokes him once, still moving with that lazy slowness that's defined everything Luke has done since he'd opened his eyes. Then he tilts his head, hearing Reid's muffled voice from above him, diligently placing the order for their breakfast, and he grins as he leans forward and drags his tongue up the length of Reid's cock, breathing him in all the while and trembling with his own deep pleasure.

Still, he somehow manages to start making his way through the order. "Yes, sorry, I'll take-- um, I'll take the Nutella French toast with a side of bacon, plus two orders of the Lumberjack breakfast, also with bacon. Actually, maybe make that three, and if you could get us a couple pots of coffee, that'd be really great. Oh, and two glasses of orange juice, and a plate of the fresh fruit."
He's growing harder with every passing second that Luke's lips touch his skin, goosebumps rising all over his body every time he feels his boyfriend's teeth graze over him, followed by Luke's tongue soothing every gentle bite. It's when Luke reaches his cock that Reid is fairly certain he blacks out for a little bit. He has to hold the phone away from his ear as he brings his other hand up to firmly cover his mouth because he can't hold back his moan once Luke starts to tease at the head of his cock. This has never happened to him before, there's never been anyone in his life who's been there to distract him like this while he's on the phone, there's never been anyone he's had the chance to go away with, never anyone he's been so deeply in love with like he is with Luke. His heart is beating harder in his chest, blood rushing both through his cock and his head, and he's sure Luke can hear the thrill rushing through him as surely as he can feel how aroused Reid is right now.
"Sir, are you still there?"
Dropping his hand from his mouth, Reid returns his attention to the call, apologizing again before allowing the worker to confirm the order then slamming the phone back down harder than he'd meant to after a particularly well-timed swipe of Luke's tongue laps up the pre-come already forming at his tip.
"God," he groans, letting his head fall back against his pillow for just a moment with a short laugh, rolling his hips involuntarily as he seeks more, always more, because he can never have enough of this man. "I can't believe you'd do this to me after I promised I would be good." On the contrary, Reid can believe it entirely, and he loves that Luke had done it, loves that they can be so free with each other, so open. It's never been this way with anyone else, he's never shared this experience with anyone, it's incomparable to anyone he's ever known. Pushing himself on his elbow, Reid reaches down with one trembling hand to move the sheets so he can fully see Luke between his legs, which only serves to send a deep shudder through his body because he hadn't quite been prepare for how incredible his boyfriend would like in this moment.
With one hand wrapped around Reid's cock, Luke lifts his eyes up, lips in a readied positions, and Reid can do nothing but shake his head in awe.
"Do you know how much I love you?" he asks, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "We have about fifteen minutes, by the way. Plenty of time to get through round one. Because if there's one thing I can promise you today, it's that we're going to continue to make very good use of this room."
no subject
"You promised to be good," he murmurs, his voice muffled as his hand twists around Reid's cock. There's so much of this he still thinks of as an experiment, as learning what Reid likes best. Having never been with another man before meant Luke had been nervous about being able to please Reid, but between what they'd talked about and the fact that he trusts his boyfriend to tell him what does and doesn't work, most of those fears have all but dissipated. Now Luke looks at it all as a way to better learn what Reid wants and what makes him feel good. He's growing more confident and he feels rather pleased with himself most times, mostly because the idea of making Reid come, how great it feels just to make him moan, that's the only thing Luke really wants.
"I didn't promise anything," he points out and he's smiling, his hand twisting again as he licks another strip up the length of Reid's cock. It sends a shiver down his spine when his boyfriend says he loves him, it gives Luke chills just to know, to remember how important he is to someone. Being loved like this is a new experience and it's one he knows he's never going to get enough of. It's not something he's ever going to be willing to give up. "I love you and the only thing in the world I want more than breakfast is to make you come."
It's meant to be a bit of a joke, but Luke's also entirely sincere in his words. He's never really said anything like that before, not to anyone, and he's never been a particularly vocal partner in bed, though he doesn't think anyone has ever had to wonder what he likes and what he does. Saying something like that to Reid, though, making his intention that clear, it only serves to arouse Luke further and he grinds against the bed for a moment before returning his complete attention to Reid. He parts his lips and takes Reid into his mouth, relaxing his jaw and his throat like he's learned, groaning at the pressure of Reid's cock sliding past his lips and along his tongue. The taste of him is strong and heavy and Luke has to close his eyes as another deep shudder runs through him as he slides his hand along the inside of Reid's thigh, his fingers slipping under to cup his balls and groans at the warmth of them in his hand.
He could spend the rest of the weekend on this alone. If Reid would let him, Luke would do nothing else but explore his body with his hands and his tongue and lips. He thinks of everywhere he could lick, everywhere he could taste and Luke moans again, a helpless sound that feels as if it's trembling through his entire body.

There's nobody he trusts more than this man, nobody he's ever been more open with about everything in his life. There's nothing to hide, nothing he wants to hide, no dark secrets he wants to keep because if there's one person in the world he'd want to share absolutely everything with, it's Luke. They'd both laid their cards out on the table fairly early on, even before they'd admitted their feelings for each other, and Reid isn't sure he'd be willing to do that with anyone else. Honesty had been important among his team, yes; but he'd spent so much time trying to hide his own struggles, trying to prove that just because he was the youngest didn't mean he needed to be coddled, trying to make it clear that he could be strong, too.
He's made mistakes, he knows this, and he knows not everyone would be able to share the same space with a man who could one day fall back on an old habit that could be legitimately life-altering, but Luke can. Luke wants to be the one by Reid's side, a constantly supportive presence who bring Reid so much more peace than he ever could have thought possible. His boyfriend hadn't run, even after all the things Reid had told him, but Reid hadn't run either. They do this for each other, trust and love and believe in each other for things other people have turned them away for, and it fills Reid's heart with the purest form of joy he's ever experienced because this, this is what it's like to be genuinely happy. To be loved and cherished and accepted. He can't recall a time he's ever felt more alive than he does with Luke.
"You're well on your way to your goal," he murmurs, gasping when Luke gently cups his balls, a thrill shooting through what feels like every last nerve ending in his body, and he curls one hand into a fist at his side as he fights to maintain some semblance of control. As badly as he wants to come right now, he also wants this to last as long as he can allow it. It's morning, his mind is still a bit hazy, and he hadn't exactly prepared for Luke to make him feel as utterly incredible as he does right now, but Reid thinks he can manage a little longer before letting go. They have some time before breakfast arrives, maybe even enough that after he comes, he can push Luke on his back and ride his boyfriend until they've both orgasmed this morning, but even just thinking of that makes him accidentally thrust into Luke's mouth.
"Luke." The name barely leaves his mouth, more a rasp of breath than anything else as Luke starts to suck, hands working in all the right places while Reid tries to anchor himself by threading his fingers back through Luke's hair. With every pump of Luke's fist, every soft squeeze of his balls, every swipe of that skillful tongue, Reid tugs at those curls, utterly desperate for more just like he always is when it comes to Luke. All his boyfriend has to do is look at him, that's all it takes, and Reid is helpless, incapable of resisting whatever whim may come over him. Luke never takes advantage of that, of course, at least not in a malicious way, but that's just another reason why they work so well together on every level. The trust between them is unrivaled, incomparable, and Reid can't help the grin that spreads across his face as he carefully thrusts into Luke's mouth again, this time on purpose.
"Perfect," he groans, "this is perfect, god, that feels incredible, I'm already so close. Make me come, please."

Free to tell Reid what he wants, free to explore and experiment, trying things he's never tried before, free to tell Reid what works for him. Right now he can't exactly speak, but he can moan and he does so quite enthusiastically when Reid grips his hair and thrusts into his mouth. There are times when being a werewolf seems to make him feel as if he needs to be in charge, there's a very dominant part of his personality that comes through when they're being intimate, but this is something he absolutely loves. When Reid takes over like this, when his body simply responds to whatever Luke is doing, regardless of what that response it, he feels the pleasure and electricity of it running the entire length of his body. It ripples through him, running down his spine and going straight to his dick, which he rubs against the bed again, knowing even if Reid does absolutely nothing but lie here after Luke has brought him to orgasm, it will be more then enough. Just the heat of his body, the feel of his muscles shifting under his skin, that's all Luke will ever need.
At times he feels a little bit like a teenager, finding himself in the first really incredible sexual relationship of his life, although the extent to which their connection is incredible extends far beyond the physical. But when he and Reid are together like this, rolling around together in bed, he feels almost playful and giddy with the knowledge that he and Reid are here and as happy as they are. He's never had anything like this and for the first time it feels like he's being given the chance for something long since missed out on. That he's getting to experience it with someone as good for him as Reid makes it all that much more special.
With another pleased little noise made low in his throat, he continues to bob his head, his hand squeezing Reid's balls a little firmer, massaging him as he sucks harder. There's no rush -- except that someone will be at their door eventually with breakfast -- but he loves knowing that what he does is pleasurable to Reid and he loves knowing, if they want to, he can get Reid off rather quickly, which he thinks is simply a sign of how turned on they are by each other. There are days when Reid barely has to touch him before Luke is biting down hard on his lip and doing everything he can to think of things that aren't remotely sexy so that he can last just a little while longer. In that way, too, he feels so much younger than he really is, struggling to keep himself from coming too soon whenever Reid touches him, and it's one more thing he knows is nothing to be embarrassed by. He doesn't have to hide anything here or pretend to be something he's not or struggle to be anything but what he is, which is as much of a turn on as anything else.
He wants to taste Reid, he wants the scent of him on the air and he flicks he gaze up, staring along the length of Reid's body so he can watch. He wants to see Reid's face when he comes, wants to feel every last shudder and sigh that goes through him.
no subject
He can't waste time on those things because his boyfriend has the gift of keeping him in the present, in the now, because there are too many factors that could change everything. Overthinking each and every one of them, as he'd typically be prone to do, would result in a barrier between them. Maybe it wouldn't be a big one, maybe it wouldn't be enough to keep them apart, but it'd still be there; and Reid prefers that there's absolutely nothing between them, that they're bared for each other in every way possible as often as possible. Never has he been so open with anyone, so willing to try absolutely anything because he has so much trust for this man, and as his hips buck again as his orgasm comes on, Reid shouts his boyfriend's name with unmistakable passion. This is something he can't fake, this love he has for Luke, and even as he blinks through the sweat dripping into his eyes, Reid feels another shudder go through him at the sight of his boyfriend swallowing him down.
With his jaw hanging open, he licks over his lips, still riding his high as his cock softens, though Luke is still gently massaging his balls as he lifts his head. Nobody's knocked at the door yet, it's possible they have enough time left to get Luke off, too, and he feels like he's practically boneless as he pushes himself up onto his elbows but even so, he pathetically grasps at his boyfriend's arm to tug him back up the length of the bed. "Come here," he says, voice low and raspy, "come here, I want you on your back."
He moves as quickly as his body allows him, and they've never done this, never had sex after Reid's already had an orgasm because Luke is the one who can get it back up in a relatively short amount of time, but he doesn't care. All he's thinking about now is making the man he loves feel good just in time for breakfast and once he has Luke in the right position, he leans in for a kiss, tasting himself on his tongue, and maybe it shouldn't, but it still makes his cock twitch. They'll have time to do this multiple times later, it's true, but Reid wants it now. He wants to feel Luke inside him, filling him, and without breaking their kiss, he reaches for the lube on the nightstand.
After flipping the cap open, he has to admit defeat, and he pulls back with a low moan before straddling his boyfriend's hips, grinding against Luke's hard cock before sitting up on his knees. His body is trembling from what Luke has already done to him, of course it is, but he pours a generous amount of lube into his hand and reaches down to slick Luke's cock with it before reaching behind himself and pressing two fingers into his own ass. It makes his eyes flutter with the shock of it, and he hasn't done this in awhile because he has Luke now but knowing what's next makes him bite down on his lip with anticipation.
"Think we can beat the clock?" he asks, a teasing edge to his tone, though his words come out closer to a whisper. Reid opens his eyes to meet Luke's gaze, grinning lazily, and he hasn't given himself much preparation but it'll have to be enough. They have sex regularly, after all, it doesn't take much to get him ready anymore, and he sinks down onto Luke's cock with just the slightest hiss of pain before he's letting his head fall back at just how incredible it feels.
no subject
"Spencer," he murmurs, just watching him for a moment, watching the way Reid's face changes as he presses his fingers into his own ass. Luke's hands reach for him, gliding over his skin, over his hips, the curve of his ass, and he reaches further back, touching Reid's hand, feeling the way his fingers are moving into his body, preparing himself, and it makes Luke's cock grow harder still. A soft whine escapes him, a sound he hadn't intended on making, and he'd be embarrassed, but it's only a sign of how badly he wants Reid, how much he enjoys being with him. His boyfriend is astonishingly sexy and he does things to Luke that he hasn't felt in a very long time, brings out parts of him Luke had long considered buried and left behind. Now, when they're together, he's never been so glad to be so wrong about something in his life, he's never been so pleased to find some hidden part of himself he thought he'd forgotten.
"I think if you keep doing what you're doing, it won't take much," Luke answers when Reid asks if he thinks they have enough time. It's meant to be a joke and his lips pull up into a smile, but the humour in his expression is cut off abruptly when Reid lifts his body and then sinks down onto his cock. He's suddenly engulfed in heat, tight muscles wrapped around his cock, the slick feeling of Reid's skin sliding against him, and he groans, his hands tightening on Reid's hips and just holding onto him for a moment. He needs to ground himself, to give himself a moment and remind himself where they are. Maybe there is a bit of a race against the clock, but he doesn't need to give up that easily.
Luke's eyes open again a moment later and using the leverage he has on Reid's hips, he rolls his own, thrusting deeper into the heat of his body. There's not going to be any doubt that'll beat the clock, not when Reid is so utterly gorgeous as he is now, riding Luke's cock, his skin covered with a thin sheen of sweat and his hair hanging on his eyes. It makes Luke want to touch him everywhere, kiss him everywhere, but he feels frozen, too, stunned to silence by what he sees and all he can do is moan and grip Reid's hips harder, thrusting into his body, setting a steady rhythm he knows is going to get him off before too long.

The conclusion he's come to is that what he and Luke share is all their own, that he can't pull a description for it out of a book because nobody else could possibly understand what it means to be Luke Garroway and Spencer Reid, together and in love. This is theirs, this love and connection they have, and that alone makes Reid feel the sort of elation nobody else will ever be able to influence in him. He's been happy before, but he's never felt like this. He's never felt so complete, like he'd been missing something all along but the void had been filled once he'd met Luke. For a time, he'd thought Maeve would be the one to be his anchor, to be the person he could tether himself to so he could come back from anything, but he realizes now that what he can't compare her to Luke. The relationships had been very different, both of them very special... but this, what he has now, is something else altogether.
Sometimes it's actually frustrating, to have to tell someone something as simple as Luke makes him happy because that doesn't even begin to scratch at the surface of how much his boyfriend has changed his life. Reid doesn't know where he'd be right now if not for Luke, but he's fairly confident he wouldn't be here, at Kagura, bouncing on his boyfriend's cock and tightening his ass as much as he can to encourage Luke to come. More than likely, he'd be at the office, his nose buried in files, and he wouldn't have thought anything of it. Any mention of Valentine's Day would have been met with the history of the occasion--though in fairness, he'd already delivered that speech to Luke once this weekend already, he hadn't been able to help himself--and Reid wouldn't be planning to bring up one of the most important conversations they're likely to have about their relationship.
So much about this weekend is so important to him, he doesn't want anything to jeopardize it, and nothing will. He's dedicated to that, he refuses to allow anything like fear or nerves to get in the way of what he wants to discuss. By the end of today, he and Luke will have come to a decision about their future.
Letting out a cry of pleasure as Luke's cock reaches the perfect spot inside him, Reid leans forward, pressing his hands against his boyfriend's chest. "Luke," he groans, beads of sweat dripping from his forehead and disappearing into Luke's chest hair, "god, you feel-- You're so--" He's in no state to speak, neither of them really are, and he can feel himself tiring but he pushes through. He has to, he wants to Luke to come inside him, wants to finish this with finger-shaped bruises on his hips, and he leans down to run his tongue up the length of Luke's scar, up Luke's neck until he's nibbling lightly at Luke's earlobe. "Come for me," he whispers, "I want you to come for me."

When Reid leans toward, when Luke can feel his boyfriend's teeth against his ear, he gasps and slides his hands up, finally releasing Reid's hips. His hands roam over his back, sliding over sweat slicked skin until he's able to wrap both his arms around Reid and pull him closer, crushing their bodies together so there's nothing at all left between them, not even the slightest space or bit of air. His hips keep rolling up, thrusting into Reid, and he's groaning now, possibly loud enough to be heard out in the hall, but Luke is gone, he's forgotten anyone else even exists, and whatever might be beyond their bed doesn't matter to him at all. He's so close to coming and with Reid pressed this close to him, it's only a matter of moments before he can't hold off any longer.
Against his chest, he can feel Reid's heart beating, not quite as quickly as his own, but still fast, still hammering there behind his breastbone. And he can hear the pulse in his throat, he can listen to every panting breath that whooshes in and out of Reid's lungs, and Luke knows he's never loved anyone this way. Everything about him is perfect as far as Luke is concerned, every last detail of who he is and the way he's made up, the physical components that have created this man. Luke wants nothing more than to just stay wrapped around him, drowning in the scents and the smells that make him who he is. His eyes are squeezed shut tight and he's gasping for air himself, groaning against Reid's shoulder as sweat rolls down his temple and into his beard.
Those whispered words are more than enough. Luke's hips thrust up once more, pressing his cock into the heat of Reid's body, and then he's coming with a cry, a sound that's nearly Reid's name, a strangled, choked off noise that barely makes it out of his throat. "Spencer," he breathes, managing a full word with the second attempt, and his arms tighten around his boyfriend, holding him close, keeping him there as he buries himself into him, coming with the rolling sort of pleasure he'd really never felt before this relationship. He feels frozen like this, breathless and unable to move, but if he has to be frozen in any position, this really is by far the best, wrapped up in everything that makes Reid who he is. He's warm and trembling and Luke lets out a long, shuddering breath and buries his nose in the curls at the back of Reid's skull.

Which is exactly why, of course, room service chooses the next moment to knock at the door.
Groaning, he buries his face against Luke's shoulder, though the curve of his smile presses against his boyfriend's skin. "You made me even hungrier than I already was," he teases, his voice still a bit hoarse from all the panting and moaning he's been doing for the past fifteen minutes or so, but he thinks he's likely in a slightly more suitable state to get on his feet--in spite of the fact that Luke had been thrusting so deeply inside of him that Reid also thinks it's possible his knees might turn to jelly halfway to the door. Still, he's not the one who's just come, and he can feel it as he lets Luke's softened cock slip out of him with a whine and calls out to the person waiting outside that he's on the way.
Grabbing a robe that'd been discarded the night before, he wraps it around himself and glances over his shoulder just to make sure Luke is out of sight before grabbing some cash and opening the door with what he hopes is some excellently feigned self-restraint. The exchange doesn't take long, seeing as their food will be charged to their room, but Reid offers a generous tip and wheels the cart in with a last word of thanks as the door falls back shut behind him.
"Breakfast is served," he says, and it smells heavenly already, even without having removed any of the plate covers that's keeping their food warm. "They even brought chocolates for us for Valentine's Day, that's so sweet." He slips the robe back off, much preferring the idea of naked breakfast in bed to anything else they might do for the meal, and grins as he offers Luke one of his plates. He sets the small box of chocolates toward the center of the bed and once they're both settled with their food, Reid lets out a soft, contended sigh.
"I didn't really know what I would want for Valentine's Day," he says, pausing to take a bite of his eggs. "I never had a reason to think about it before, you know? But this, this is perfect. The whole weekend has been." Pausing again, he bites down on his lip, casting a nervous glance at his boyfriend. "Actually, that being said, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about."
no subject
"That's nice of them," Luke says, glancing at the chocolates briefly before he digs into the breakfast on the plate Reid has handed him. The box is small, but it looks as if it's likely filled with relatively expensive chocolates and while Luke doesn't have a particular sweet tooth most of the time, he imagines they'll both find the time to enjoy those once they've finished eating their meal. Chocolate is an exception and when it comes to the more expensive varieties, Luke had been taught more than one lesson about them by Clary or Jocelyn over the years. He's learned to appreciate good chocolate and finds he's actually looking forward to being able to share this box with Reid over the course of the day.
Now, though, he has bacon and eggs and his naked boyfriend in bed beside him, which is really all he can ask for in this world. He's comfortable and content, his muscles loose and relaxed and although he's still only partly awake, he's no longer certain that's due to sleep and thinks it's entirely because Reid has just worn him out. At least temporarily. The day is long and Luke is quite in love and he imagines there's a good number of ways in which he can find a reservoir or two of energy. Especially when it comes to the man sitting next to him in bed. Being here should be surreal, it's a life he truly never imagined he would have, but here they are and it doesn't actually feel surreal at the end of it all. It feels so firmly rooted in reality, like nothing in Luke's life has ever been more solid, more dependable and more true than this, and he smiles as he bites into a piece of bacon, never quite able to take his eyes off Reid's face.
All those months ago when they had first met, Luke had only ever expected to be friends. As his feelings had grown, he'd convinced himself nothing more could come of it but friendship and he would have managed had that been true. Maybe they wouldn't have been here, but he trusts that Reid wouldn't have just forgotten about him, that their friendship would have grown strong and it would have been just as solid as their romantic relationship has proven to be. It's the foundation of why they work so well, that friendship, and Luke leans over suddenly, pressing a kiss to Reid's cheek before he returns to his meal and his much needed coffee.
"I like the idea of something like this more than gifts and flowers," he admits, looking around their room. "Though I do also like flowers. It's just that this is an experience, something for us to remember as our first Valentine's Day together. It means more to me than a card would have." He smiles again and glances at Reid as he takes a sip of his coffee. Whatever is on his mind, it sounds rather serious and Reid looks nervous, but Luke can't imagine it's anything bad. Not after the morning they've just had and the meal they're having now, both of them relaxed and content. "What is it? Anything."
no subject
He's still nervous about what he wants to talk about, but the kiss also provides him with a boost of strength. Luke doesn't seem at all worried, not that he should, but that only serves to make Reid more confident about the topic as a whole. They're nearly always on the same page about everything, they've yet to have anything resembling a real argument, and Reid doesn't see that as a sign that this is too good to be a true. He sees it as undeniable evidence that they work well together, anyone with an analytical mind would be able to see past the surface affection they have for one another and observe that deep down, at the root of this relationship, is an incredibly solid foundation. Their love had been built on friendship, on something that hadn't relied on sex to act as the glue to keep it together, and Reid doesn't think every relationship needs to start that way but in their case, it'd certainly helped.
They've both been hurt before, they've both been through things that now require them to feel a great deal of trust for someone before they truly open themselves up, and they'd found that in each other. Reid has never trusted anyone the way he does Luke, he's never felt like he could tell anyone absolutely anything without reservation, without concern that it might create some sort of damaging rift between them, and at that thought, there's a sudden surge of fondness that rises in his chest. It makes him set his fork back down mid-bite, and he bites down on his life, just studying Luke's face for a moment with a faint smile before he finally gathers the rest of his courage to speak.
"I've been thinking about us," he says, "about-- about our future. I know being Darrow is the reason we met, I know we wouldn't ever have been able to cross paths otherwise, but the city can be cruel, too. Tomorrow, one of us could..." Reid trails off, not even wanting to speak the words and anyway, that's not really what he wants to get at so he doesn't. "The point is, I made a promise to myself when we first started dating that I wouldn't take this for granted. We both know all too well what it's like to lose someone, and I don't want to spend our time together worrying that I'm going to lose you, too. What I want is to believe we have a long future ahead of us because I love you, Luke. I love you so much, I can't-- There just aren't enough words for it, there's nothing I could even quote to express how deeply I feel for you."
These are things Luke already knows, or should, at least, and Reid's shoulder deflate a little as he realizes he's unintentionally stalling himself. Letting out a short laugh, he reaches out to take Luke's free hand, nose twitching as he does. "I told you about my friend T.J., how his boyfriend proposed to him. Well, even before he told me about that, I was already thinking about it, just every so often, but it's been on my mind more and more now. I don't know if it's too soon, I think that's individually subjective, but I wanted to see if you'd be open to a discussion about it. About getting married someday."

But then he'd met Reid. Suddenly everything had slowed down and for the first time in his life, he'd been able to appreciate everything he had, every little moment of their experiences together without worrying about holding on so tightly for fear of losing it again. He'd crushed Jocelyn, smothered her in his need for family, he sees that now, but he also sees it's because he hadn't trusted her. After Valentine, trust had been so hard to come by, after Amatis had broken his heart, it had felt next to impossible. With Reid it's always been so simple. Right from the start, he's been able to trust him without the slightest sliver of fear, and so in the past few weeks and months he's allowed himself to consider the future and what it might mean for the two of them here in Darrow.
Of course it's Reid who finds the courage to speak about it, though. It's always Reid who has that unending source of bravery Luke can't seem to access himself, and he doesn't resent it in the slightest. He finds it inspiring, it makes him love Reid even more than he had the moment before, knowing that his boyfriend, at the end of it all, will always be the hero. Luke might be the warrior, he might be trained to fight and protect, but it's Reid who chose it. Luke was born into this life, Reid picked it, and he shows Luke all the reasons why he's so well suited to it every single day.
He's still eating when Reid reaches out to take his hand, a piece of toast halfway to his mouth, then bitten into and chewed. His hand falls to the box of chocolates next and he takes one without thought, his gaze still on Reid's face, the act of eating more mechanical than anything else at this moment, his entire focus on his boyfriend, hearing his words and listening to what it is he wants to discuss. Chewing the chocolate, then swallowing, he finds he's nodding at the same time, because he doesn't even need to wait for Reid to finish speaking for him to know it's something he wants to talk about. It's a conversation he would very much like to have. Children are perhaps beyond them at this point and Luke is okay with that, he thinks he's found a very happy family here in Darrow, but marriage... that's still something they can consider.
"Yes," he says, then clears his throat and has to take a sip of his coffee again, his mouth suddenly dry even after having eaten the chocolate. "I'd very much like to discuss that." Reid isn't asking Luke to marry him now and he's quite comfortable with that, because part of what makes their relationship so easy is that they talk to each other first. They have these discussions, they make plans, and Luke knows nothing else would fit them quite so well. It's in their nature and it makes him comfortable, knowing they'll be able to talk about this, too. Like everything. "I've thought about it, too. I'm... yes. I'm very open to the discussion."
no subject
"Okay," he says, trying his best and failing miserably to hide the enormous grin that's making its way across his face. His cheeks are pink, he can feel the warmth radiating from his skin, and he ducks his head to let out a shy, little laugh because now that they've arrived at the conclusion that they're both on board with the idea of getting married, this conversation can only go one way. "Okay, that's-- I mean, I'm really glad that you-- Oh, forget it."
Foregoing his attempts at speaking for now, Reid leans forward to press a kiss against his boyfriend's lips, pushing Luke gently back against the pillows as he does. Groping for the small box behind him, he reaches for another chocolate, pulling back just slightly so he can hold it to Luke's lips. "Eat this, otherwise I'll just want to keep kissing you, which isn't typically a problem but if we're going to talk about, we should probably do some actual talking."
Granted, watching Luke take this piece of candy from between his fingers isn't likely to help keep the thoughts of what they're most certainly going to get back to doing later any more at bay, but it's worth a shot. It's Valentine's Day, they're having a relaxing weekend to themselves, they're desperately in love with each other--there really doesn't seem like there could be a better time to talk about getting married than right now.
"I think the question of when will answer itself in time," Reid says, "we've always been good about knowing what the right thing to do is at the right time when it comes to our relationship." That's one of the things he loves most, that they don't rush into things without thinking them through. Even the morning after they'd kiss, they'd sat down and talked about what they were both looking for, arriving at the conclusion that they both wanted something long-term. Knowing that upfront had helped so much, just in the sense that Reid hadn't felt like he needed to guess what was going on in Luke's mind. His boyfriend has always been open with him and vice versa, there's been no need to worry about how deep the trust between them runs.
"What do you think of-- of what you might want? Have you thought much about it before, going through the motions of having a wedding?" Pausing, he bites his lips, figuring he ought to offer his own input since he's asking so much of Luke's. "I've always wanted one. A wedding, I mean. I went to JJ's when she married Will, and it was just so... beautiful. Everyone was so happy for them, you could see it, and I guess I'd like to have the chance to share that with our friends, too. I want the people we know to be there when I put that ring on your finger because I already know it's going to be the best day of my life."
no subject
"Yes," he says. "I've always wanted a wedding. When I... Shadowhunters don't get married in the traditional sense, but there is a ceremony. The runes marking our clothes would have been gold, the rings we exchanged would have been our family rings and there are runes for marriage. Permanent runes, one to be marked over our hearts and one on our arm. When I was growing up, I spent... hours with my family ring, turning it over in my hands, imagining what it would be like to give it to someone one day." He laughs and shakes his head in amusement, knowing his behaviour wasn't typical of any Shadowhunters. Marriage was looked upon as important and significant, but it was still a union, not unlike that of the parabatai and Shadowhunters didn't look at it the same way it was looked at by mundanes. But that's what Luke had always wanted. Discovering mundanes and Downworlders celebrated marriages in such lush, extravagant ways had been exciting to Luke.
He doesn't have his family ring any longer. It had been left behind at his home in Alicante when his sister had chased him out and he hasn't seen it since. He hasn't been a Graymark in a long time, not in the strictest sense of belonging, but the thought of giving Reid his family ring is still something he quite likes the idea of. Maybe he'll be able to have one made, a decent replica if he can properly describe what the crest looks like to a jewelry maker in the city.
"That isn't the ceremony I want," he assures Reid, his hands roaming over his boyfriend's back. It's funny, because as much as he wants to have this conversation, he can feel himself growing distracted. Reid's skin is so so warm under his hands and Luke can feel every movement, the slightest tensing and flexing of his muscles as he shifts on the bed. His hips want to roll closer to Reid, he wants that friction, he wants to flip him over and rub against him until he's hard again, and the very thought sends a tingle of pleasure racing down Luke's spine, one that turns into a shiver he works hard to suppress so Reid doesn't think he's losing interest in their conversation. It's something he very much wants to talk about, but he also very much wants to fuck his boyfriend over and over for the rest of the day. He wants to drag him into the shower and fill the tub with water and let Reid fuck him, too, and the very thought makes his throat dry up and his breath steal from him.
"But I... I do want a ceremony," he says, his voice cracking. "I'd like that, having everyone we care about there with us, being able to have a party afterward. I'll even wear a suit for you, I promise, and it won't be flannel."

(and he does want to do that, admittedly, he wants to be traditional in that regard and be the one to get down on one knee in as romantic a setting as he can manage, though this may be hard to beat)
--he doesn't think it'll come as a surprise to very many people. He's already talked to T.J. and Graham about it; come closer to the time he's ready to propose, Reid thinks he'll probably talk to Alec, too, possibly even Magnus for a little help in making everything as close to perfect as he can. Maybe he'll even get a ring to propose with, one for each of them to wear until they can substitute them with their wedding bands, and he wonders if he can even get Magnus to magically engrave the inside of the rings with marriage runes. Luke may not be a Shadowhunter anymore, that may not be the way of life he follows, but it's still been an enormous part of his life. Reid does respect that, even though his boyfriend had been cast aside once he'd been turned, and he thinks it might be a nice gesture to include that in some way.
But that's something he can consider later. Right now, he nods, tilting his head just slightly as Luke's voice inexplicably cracks as he speaks, though Reid doesn't address it. The feel of his boyfriend's fingertips trailing over his back is intoxicating, making him shiver as goosebumps rise on his skin, and he splays a hand out flat on Luke's stomach before dragging it up to run through the hair on Luke's chest. By no means will he mind it if this goes the direction this day was going to go anyway, there was never going to be any question at all that they'd return to having sex as many times as they can manage in the next twenty-four hours; but at the same time, Reid doesn't want to let the conversation drop, doesn't want it to be a brief thing they visit then lose sight of later on because this is something he truly wants, something he now knows Luke wants, too.
It's not as if they're discussing getting a new car just to forget about the topic later, he realizes that, this is their future as a couple, something far more important. He just wants to be sure that they can see what else they agree on regarding being married before he starts planning his eventual proposal.
"I'm glad we agree," he says softly, giving Luke a meaningful smile, "not that I thought we wouldn't. I've just... I've never talked to anyone about this kind of thing. I told both T.J. and Graham that it's what I want, to marry you, and for the first time in my life, I finally know for sure that it's something I can actually have. I didn't think it'd ever happen. I didn't think anyone would ever love me enough to want to spend the rest of their life with me." It's not meant to be self-pitying, simply a true statement. After Maeve had been killed, Reid had figured his chances at marriage to be over, simply because he couldn't imagine ever feeling for someone again like he had for her.
He doesn't feel the same way about Luke as he does about Maeve, comparing the two wouldn't be fair because the relationships had been so different; but he knows that being with Luke feels right, that in his heart, he's absolutely certain that Luke is the only person in the world he could love this much. If he believed in fate, he'd believe Luke was made for him.
In spite of wanting to continue their talk, Reid can't help but lean in for another kiss with a contented sigh, letting his lips linger on Luke's as he shifts on the bed to throw one leg over his boyfriend's hip. He's back to the position he'd been in earlier, straddling Luke's hips, and he pulls away just slightly, hands rest on either side of the pillows below Luke, to offer a coy grin. "You can wear a flannel suit if you want, by the way," he teases, "I love you as you are, more and more every day. You just have to promise that the rest of the day will consist of practicing for the honeymoon."

There's a strange sense of arousal mixing with the elation he feels at having had this conversation at all, though maybe strange isn't the right word. It's just that Luke is feeling closer and closer to a loss of control, not in any way that might be particularly dangerous or threatening, but the closest comparison he has to what he feels right now is the night of the super moon, the night he and Reid had slept together for the first time. That evening the moon had still felt like it'd had its hooks in him, clawing at his skin, making it impossible for him to resist the urges of the wolf, the instincts he's usually perfectly capable of ignoring. The only thing he'd wanted that night was to run and to bury himself in Reid's scent and the only difference today is that Reid is all he wants. It's not the moon this time, it's only the two of them, and Luke doesn't know how much longer he'll be able to deny it.
He's trying so hard to focus on what Reid is saying because he knows it's important, he can hear Reid's words, the sound of his voice, the significance of that admission and he wants to just reassure him, make him understand Luke will never want anyone else. They can both have this now, they can be together and find happiness and live with someone who understands them and loves them not despite any flaws they may have, but because of them. His lips part to speak, but all that comes out of him is a broken, shuddering breath, and his lets his hands slide down Reid's both until he's anchored at his hips again, just holding onto his boyfriend, grounding himself in that situation. It's not right for him to only be thinking about sex in a moment like this, but Luke is already hard again, he can feel himself straining toward Reid, wanting nothing more than the warmth of him in any way he can get.
And he's still entirely caught up in the idea of Reid being the one to fuck him, of being pushed down among the pillows or pressed against the wall or bent over that desk in the corner. He's never understood the purpose of desks in hotel rooms before, he's wondered how many people actually use them, and now he can think of a hundred ways in which it can be used today, all of them involving Reid slowly fucking him against it.
Luke's skin feels like it's on fire, hot and sensitive to the slightest touch, and when Reid leans forward, he arches up slightly, whining softly when he can't quite get close enough for a kiss. His boyfriend is still speaking and Luke knows he needs to answer, but the only thing on his mind is touching Reid and being touched by him. Hands and skin and lips and tongues and flashes of teeth, and he groans a little louder, then rakes his blunt nails up over Reid's back and buries one hand in his hair.
"I will never love anyone the way I love you," he finally manages to say, his voice hoarse. "And I will never want to spend my life with anyone but you and I'm going to need you to fuck me today, Spencer. I'm going to need that. I can't... I need..." But his train of thought is completely gone again and he's truly surprised he managed to get that much out without losing himself. He struggles on the bed slightly, then presses up as he brings Reid down at the same time, kissing him hard and desperate, moaning into his mouth. Luke has no idea what's happened to him in the last few minutes, but he certainly has no complaints.
no subject
They've discussed it before, of course, have arrived at the conclusion that it should absolutely happen, but until now, Luke's never actually begged for it like this. Hearing him say that, saying he needs Reid to fuck him, sends a shiver up his spine, and he does nothing to hide it.
He's never been the one in this position before, though he knows more than well enough what sort of preparation Luke will need before they do this because Reid remembers all too well what his own first time had been like. Even with Luke, there'd been a bit of pain when they'd first made love, if only because it'd been such a long time since Reid had been intimate with anyone. Especially on a day like today, after the conversation they've just had, Reid wants to be sure that if they do this, it'll be as painless and enjoyable for Luke as possible. His boyfriend may have healing capabilities, but Reid never wants to be the reason Luke has to use them, even in matters like this.
"God," he says, more whispers, swallowing hard as he rolls his hips against Luke's, gasping when their cocks brush against each other. "I want-- I want that. I want to fuck you, I want to fuck you so badly, I've wanted it for so long, you don't know how many times I've imagined it." And he has, not that he has any complaints whatsoever about what they've been doing all this time. He has no intention of giving it up, the feeling of having Luke inside him, filling him, taking him over, it's one of his favorite things in the world; but to know he might be able to produce the same feeling in Luke sends a thrill through him, makes him excited because he's never had the chance to do it for anyone before. For the two of them, it's not about domination, it's about partnership, a joint effort in making each other feel incredible, and they've never failed on that front. That they love each other so much more than helps, of course, but they've also learned each other in ways nobody else ever will.
Luke understands him, every last part of him, it's why Reid had entrusted him with the blindfold, and it's why he knows he doesn't need to worry whether his boyfriend is sure about this. Luke wouldn't have asked if he didn't truly want it.
Once their kiss breaks, both of them already panting from the exertion of their passion, Reid grins at him, though he's already inching his way down the length of Luke's body. "If I'd known talking about marriage would be such a turn-on," he say, pausing to graze his teeth over Luke's nipple before flicking his tongue out to soothe it, "I would've brought it up a long time ago."
no subject
If asked to describe this, he isn't sure he'd be able to. He's felt this way before, only with Reid, but it's somehow more. Bigger and stronger and more overwhelming, like his control has been stripped, like he's at the mercy of the basest parts of himself, and all he can do is be thankful that Reid truly doesn't seem to mind. There are so many times during their relationship that Luke has felt like Reid is introducing him to something new, something previously unknown, something wonderful that's just been waiting until the two of them meet, but this is exceptional. It's like he's been broken open, everything inside him that loves Reid exposed to the air, sensitive and wanting.
Desperate to speak, to tell Reid how amazing that sounds, how badly he wants this, Luke finds himself completely speechless, incapable of saying a single word. His mouth falls open, his lips parting, but no intelligible sound comes out, just a desperate little whimper as Reid's tongue sweeps over his nipple. Letting his hands roam, his fingers press against Reid's skin, massaging into his muscles and his entire body arches off the bed, lifting and pressing closer and seeking as much skin on skin contact as he can possibly get. He feels like he's going to burn up, like he's about to go to pieces under Reid's lips and fingers and promises.
"It's not just talking about marriage," he finally manages to gasp. "It's you. Just you. Always you." Whatever else is working in their favour right now, that will always be true. There's never been anyone else who's made him feel this way, no one else who's touched him like this, who's made him feel this good, this mindless. It takes every bit of Luke's self restraint not to just grab Reid and flip him over in the bed, but he very much meant what he'd said and he wants to feel his boyfriend inside him today. Now, if possible. There's preparation they have to do, of course, he knows they'll have to take things slow, but he's done whatever he can to make sure, when the time comes that, it won't be quite so difficult and he hopes it's going to prove to have paid off today.
"God," he breathes, running his hands down Reid's back, over the curve of his ass. "Please, please..." He doesn't even realize he's begging, the words whispered into the air as his back arches again.

It's incredible, it really is, realizing that he's the only one who gets to see Luke laid out like this. People have been fortunate enough to have been with this man before, it's true, but Reid is the only one who gets him like this. Reid is the only one who gets to nudge Luke's legs apart and press his lips against strong thighs as he teases, draws it out even though he just wants to be buried deep inside of the man he loves. They're bared now only for each other, that's how it's always going to be, and Reid has no doubts. No reservations. There's nothing at all that could convince him that marrying Luke Garroway would be a bad idea--and frankly, he doesn't think anyone would dare try to convince him of that in the first place. His boyfriend is loved, in so many ways by so many different people, and Reid is proud to be the one Luke has chosen to love. Nothing else could possibly be more worthwhile.
He catches the head of Luke's cock in his mouth, sucking gently at the precome that's pooled there, his eyes fluttering shut as the familiar taste floods over his tongue. This experience they're going to share, it's going to be yet a milestone in their relationship, and Reid wants to make sure every last moment is good for Luke. It's then that the idea pops into his head, one that he's been meaning to bring up but hasn't because he's gone back and forth on whether it would be appealing for either of them. Now that their positions are switched, however, he's willing to take things a bit further just to see if he can make Luke scream again. Maybe this isn't something he would have done with anyone else, particularly because of his own personal neuroses, but Reid finds that if there's one person he's willing to try anything for, it's his boyfriend.
"I want to fuck you over that desk," he says, not bothering to gesture at it because Luke will know the one, "but I want to try something else, too. I don't know if you'll like it, it's okay if you don't, you can tell me to stop. I just... I want to make you feel good today. All day."
Biting his lip nervously, he encourages Luke to spread his legs a little wider, his gaze dropping to that ring of muscle he so badly wants to be pressing into right now. Before he can second guess himself, he takes a breath, kissing along Luke's thigh again until he reaches Luke's ass. Then, experimentally, he lets his tongue brush over his boyfriend's entrance; when Luke doesn't protest, he does it again, this time with a bit more slowly with some added pressure. Shivering, he lifts his eyes back up at Luke, his expression quizzical. "Is that okay?"

Wildly, he wonders if Reid truly expects him to be able to speak or if the question is rhetorical, if he's trying to tease Luke, but when he manages to list his head, it looks as if Reid is serious and Luke finally manages something more than a moan, a hoarse laugh slipping out of him. "Spencer, my god," he says and then laughs again, digging his heels into the mattress and spreading his legs wider to better accommodate his boyfriend, because what he's just been doing is possibly the most incredible thing Luke has ever felt. There's nothing about his body that ways he wants Reid to stop and every movement, every shift and arch of his back is only encouragement to go on. "Yes, it's okay. My god, yes, it's more than okay."
He doesn't know what part of his body to pay attention to. Under other circumstances, it might be overwhelming, feeling all this all at once, but Luke is focused enough on the sensation that he's aware he can take this all. All he needs is for Reid to give him what he wants and since his boyfriend has already begun to do exactly that, Luke's quite content to imagine he might feel like this for the rest of the day. Always right on the verge of tumbling over the edge and yet never quite there, brought closer and closer by Reid's talented hands and mouth, his pleasure mounting more and more with each passing moment, but always waiting. Always wanting more. Always knowing what's going to come next, that eventually they're going to move over to that desk and Reid is going to bend him over and take him.
The mere thought pulls another groan rumbling out of Luke and he would beg if he could, but his vocabulary has fled from him again, left him speechless and silent save for the moans Reid is bringing out of him. Hotels are never nearly soundproof enough and if he were more aware of himself, he would make the effort not to be so loud, but everything Reid does to him is driving him out of his mind with pleasure and he's only dimly aware of their surroundings, every last bit of him focused on his own body and the way it feels when Reid touches him.
"You," he gasps, then twitches on the bed, his heels slipping before he digs them in more firmly and manages to anchor himself. "Spencer, god, you make me feel incredible."

There's a reason he hadn't run, in spite of never having been exposed to anything quite like that in his life. The thing about it is, he's seen things throughout his career that he hopes the majority of people will never have to be exposed to, things that have terrified him to his core, things that have alerted his instincts and allowed him to recognize that which he should truly fear; but that night, with Luke's claws extended and his teeth razor sharp, Reid hadn't been afraid. He hadn't been fascinated by the unknown or nervous about what might happen next, all he'd felt was safe.
If asked to explain it, Reid doesn't think he'd really be capable of it. What he feels for Luke is like nothing else he's ever felt before, it's incomparable to anything he's experienced and because of that, indescribable. He can try, of course, and he has. He's told close friends of how much he loves this man, of how deeply connected they are in every facet of their lives, of how doubtless he is that they'll spend the rest of their lives together. What he hasn't been able to tell anyone is that in an unfamiliar world, with no friends to rely on, Reid's life could have ended up very different had he never met Luke. He doesn't want to say he'd be floundering without his boyfriend, but he knows he wouldn't be as steady as he is today.
Perhaps he wouldn't have immediately turned to seeking out drugs again, seeking out the high in a misguided attempt to keep the memories of his old life from his mind, maybe he wouldn't haved looked for refuge in a bottle or anything quite so extreme; but Reid is certain he'd be far from content, far from assuming a real life here in Darrow, and he's grateful every single day that he'd chosen that particular coffee shop to visit when he'd arrived in the city.
There's nothing he can really say to explain that, not even to Luke. Simply saying it isn't enough, not as far as he's concerned, so Reid tries to encapsulate it all in the attention he gives to Luke's body. When they're being intimate, it often feels like they've lost themselves in worshipping each other, in doing all they possibly can to be sure that the other is reaching the highest form of pleasure, and Reid would be prompt to say they've never failed at that. Now, shifts his reach so one arm is wrapped around Luke's thigh and the other is gently stroking Luke's cock, Reid moans as he presses his tongue back inside of his boyfriend's body. Already, he can feel how tight Luke will be, and he's never been the one to be on top before so the promise of what it'll feel like to push deeper into that warmth makes him whimper. Slowly, he fucks Luke with his tongue, in awe of how incredible it is to simply be the one to do this, wondering all the while what it will be like when he inevitably asks Luke to do the same to him.

"Spencer," he breathes and he realizes he's near to whispering without even being able to explain why. His hands are still clenched tightly in the sheets and he wants to say more, wants to do more, but it feels like a relatively large part of his brain has just shorted out entirely and is refusing to let him comprehend any of what's going on. Everything inside him just keeps returning to Reid, to how important he is, to what a significant part of Luke's life he's become. They both have so much going for them, they both have careers they enjoy, good friends and even family, but whenever Luke thinks about what makes him truly happen in Darrow, it always returns to Reid. At the moment, the only thing he can think about is how good he feels right in this moment, how perfect everything is and how much he wants to make it last all day. Or maybe the rest of their lives. Reid wants to marry him, after all, he wants to commit himself to Luke in that way and it's that thought that manages to clear through the aroused haze in his mind.
It's the only thought that manages to make it through and then only just. Because Reid's hand is wrapped around his cock, his tongue is in his ass, and Luke is trembling, pleasure rippling through his body. He feels helpless, completely out of control, more deeply surrendered to someone than he's ever been before and it's that thought that sends him tumbling closer to the edge. This is it for him. This is it. This is utter perfection and he wants to reach for Reid and hold him close, but he's barely able to breathe. Making himself move, making his hands work, he knows that's utterly impossible.
He's going to come soon. He's so close, he can feel it building, that tension inside him, the way it makes his entire body feel as if it's pulling tight. He's breathing so hard that his chest is heaving, but he still can't manage to make much noise, Spencer's name spilling out of him over and over at barely more than a whisper. Arching his back, pressing closer, Luke all but freezes when Reid's tongue presses deeper, swipes over sensitive skin, and then he groans, his voice finally breaking out of his throat, the sound long and loud.
"Spencer," he says, his muscle trembling. "Spencer, please, I'm... I'm so close, I'm..." But he's more than just close, he's right here, right on the edge and all his boyfriend has to do is twist his hand in just the right way and Luke is coming, wracked with it, his muscles tensing nearly to the point of pain. He lets out a strangled cry, gasping for air, riding the wave of pleasure and his eyes are still wide open, still staring up at the ceiling, seeing nothing.

It's different when Reid is baiting him at home or down in the store or even simply out at dinner. It's something else entirely to slip innuendo so casually into conversation and watch Luke begin to unravel in the very same way Reid does because when they get to be alone in those cases, they're already on the same level. With Luke sprawled out on the mattress like this, legs wide, chest heaving from how labored his breathing is now, it's unspoken that he's transferred his power to Reid. That's where their trust comes in, their respect for one another and what their limits are, though neither of them have gone past any lines as of yet. It's why their conversations are so important, it's why buying a blindfold for Luke as a Christmas gift had been such a big deal for Reid, and it's why Reid will keep pushing his tongue as deep into Luke's body as he can manage because he wants his boyfriend to understand that he only ever wants him to feel good.
It helps, of course, that Luke will be able to get hard yet again after this. This will make the second time this morning, Reid can still practically feel Luke's length thrusting into him from earlier, and maybe it'll take longer than usual for his boyfriend to recover but then again, they have time. As soon as Luke has reached his orgasm, as soon as Reid feels him spilling into the hand he's using to stroke Luke's cock, he'll kiss his way up the entire length of his boyfriend's body to allow some time to rest before gently encouraging him to move over to that desk.
When Reid prepares him, it'll be slow, slow enough that Luke should be able to find the strength for another erection, and then-- then Reid will fuck him. His own cock twitches, desperate to find friction at the prospect of waiting any longer to be pressing into Luke's body, but Reid will forego his own pleasure to make sure Luke gets his. Hearing his name whispered over and over like that, it makes him dizzy with arousal, it makes him feel just as incredible to know he's responsible for this reaction, and he wonders if this is what it's like for Luke, too. No, that's not true at all, he realizes; he knows it is, because he's been on the receiving end of an attentiveness unlike anything else he's ever experienced. His sexual history is limited, but he can say with certainty that Ethan had never touched him the way Luke does. What he and his boyfriend share, what they do behind closed doors, it will only ever be for them.
He tightens his grip on Luke's cock just slightly, redoubling his efforts at moving his tongue inside of him, panting as he grinds against the sheets in an effort to give himself just a hint of friction before he's allowed to fuck his boyfriend. He pushes Luke's cock through the hole of his fist faster now, pumping in time with the thrusts of his tongue, refusing to let up until Luke is coming, and Reid quickly lifts his head to suck at his boyfriend's tip so he can swallow as much as he can.
Once they've both managed to catch their breaths adequately enough, Reid presses a kiss to Luke's hip, then another and another, glancing up at his boyfriend. "The second you're ready," he says, voice low, continuing his trail of kisses, just as he'd planned, "the second you're able to get hard again, I'm taking you over that desk. You don't know how badly I want to be inside you, Luke, my god, you're everything. You're everything to me."

He's never done anything like that, not with anyone, and it doesn't come as a surprise to him that Reid is the only person he's ever going to trust with something like this. It feels a little bit like giving himself over entirely, opening himself up to a completely new experience, and of course it's Reid he's going to do this with. No one else could even come close because no one else has ever loved him like this. He's always been a bit of a romantic and he's always wanted the sort of relationship that seems to defy words, but he's a realist, too. Luke has wanted the fairy tale romance, but expected a more pragmatic sort of relationship, one where things are discussed and the reality of every day life makes the other things just a little bit less romantic, but what he had never quite bargained for was a man like Reid. Someone with whom he could have both that romance and the every day life things, yet never have one make the other any less important. In fact, with Reid, talking about work and their apartment and whether or not they should start saving a little bit more in case Alec or Isabelle were to ever need some help financially makes everything else better. He'd never realized that such a thing could be true.
When Reid speaks, Luke finds himself laughing, a low rumble that starts low in his chest and builds. It's not a hysterical sort of laugh, it isn't even very loud, but it's a reflection of how good he feels in this moment as he reaches down and smooths his hands over the back of Reid's neck and across the expanse of his shoulders. He feels like home given physical form, the safest Luke has ever felt, the most content he's ever been, and somehow the only way he has to communicate these feelings in this moment is this low laughter he can't quite control.
"It isn't going to take very long with you speaking to me like that," he murmurs and already he can feel the spark of arousal growing inside him. Even if his body isn't quite ready to respond yet, he feels it, like he's felt it all morning, almost as if he's unable control it, but he doesn't think Reid particularly minds. In fact, he think the fact that they've done almost nothing today but have sex is something the two of them should be rather proud of. That they've also had a serious conversation about marriage only cements the idea in Luke's mind that they should spend the rest of the day having sex to celebrate what they've both already known for some time, it seems. That they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
"Come here," he murmurs, holding his arms out toward Reid, because he knows having his boyfriend in his arms and being able to feel the hard press of his cock against his hip is going to more than help Luke get where he needs to be for them to get up and move away from the bed. "You're incredible, Spencer. I love you so much."

Yet here they are, their bodies pressed against each other, and Reid groans as his cock presses against Luke's hip, unable to stop himself from grinding against him. Dropping his forehead down to Luke's shoulder, he pecks at his boyfriend's chest, fingertips tracing lightly over the silvery scars Reid has had memorized since the first night they'd made love. There's no part of Luke's body he doesn't love, no part he doesn't want to explore more, just to make sure he's paying as much attention as possible to each spot that deserves it. All he wants is to make sure Luke feels good, appreciated and cherished, to make sure that there's never a flicker of doubt that there's nobody else Reid could ever want. His heart, all the love that comes with it, that's reserved strictly for Luke. He's loved before, they both have, but he knows it's never been like this for either of them. What they've found together doesn't make any other relationship they've had less special or important, not in the slightest, and they've always had a healthy mutual respect for each other's pasts; but Reid thinks they're still both very aware of just how strong their love is. It's not fleeting, it won't fade.
This is it. For both them, this is it, and Reid had come to that conclusion awhile ago but there's something about knowing that one day, he'll be able to call this man his husband that sets a spark of intense pleasure in him. The spark sends a shiver through him, makes him whimper as he lifts his head just slightly to nip at Luke's collarbone as he rolls his hips desperately, needing more than just the feel of his cock against Luke's skin to sustain him. He knows his boyfriend still needs to recover, somewhere in the back of his mind, he understands that; but the carnal need to do something about how hard he is won't slow and all Reid can think about is what it'll be like to finally fuck the incredible man beneath him.
"I love you, too," he manages to say, his voice wavering, every last inch of his body seemingly tense and trembling with his arousal. "I love every last part of you and what you do to me, do you see what you do to me?" Reid rolls his hips again to make his point, ghosting his lips over Luke's skin as he blindly reaches for the lube that had been used just before breakfast had arrived. If his boyfriend isn't ready to take steps toward another round yet, that's perfectly fine, Reid understand. He just wants to be prepared for the moment Luke is ready because right now, he feels like his skin is on fire from how badly he wants to be inside of Luke. It's close to overwhelming, and he doesn't want to be too pushy but for all that he wants to be patient, Reid's simply finding it easier said than done.
"Let's move," he says, lifting his eyes to meet Luke's. "Can we do that? I want to see you bent over for me."

"I think we can do that," he says, pushing himself to his feet, though he needs to hold onto the wall for just a second. Then he walks toward the desk across the room and rests his hands against the top for a moment. Carefully, he moves the chair aside, knowing it's only going to get in their way once they get going, knowing they're going to just end up knocking it over if it's still in the way in a few minutes and he doesn't want to cause more noise than they're already going to, he doesn't want to draw any unwanted attention to their room when all he wants is to spend the rest of the day with Reid and not having to answer to anyone or anything else.
Even with his height, the desk is actually a good size for the two of them, at least from what he can tell at this point, and his hands roam over the top of the desk, leaning forward a little bit. It's good he can use the desk to support his weight, especially when he looks over his shoulder at Reid and finds himself robbed nearly breathless by the sight of his boyfriend looking back at him. He's never known anyone who wants him like this, he's never had anyone else look at him like this, and even after all these months, he sometimes doesn't know quite what to do with it. He almost can't believe that need and that want and that love are all directed at him. For such a long time he'd thought himself generally unworthy of love like this, but here they are, and when Reid looks at him like this, Luke feels like he could do absolutely anything in the world. He feels, for the first time, like he truly belongs somewhere.
"I want you," he murmurs and another deep shiver runs through his body. He knows that can't be a surprise, but he still wants it said. He wants Reid to know how much he wants him, how badly he wants him and how ready he is for this. They're so good to each other, he knows it isn't going to hurt, he knows Reid is going to take care of him and he's ready for it to happen.
no subject
It wouldn't be the first time that's happened, anyway, and he's come up with an excuse to leave early for his lunch break just so he can rush home to drag Luke into bed with him more than once before. That's all new to him, he's never had a reason other than rest to leave work, and Reid considers it likely that he'd have slept in BAU headquarters on a regular basis if that'd been allowed. Here, though, he actually looks forward to getting off work on time. He looks forward to going home because he knows someone's waiting for him, ready to greet him with a kiss and a loving smile the second he walks through the door. This is the life he's always wanted, even though he'd been so certain he'd never get it.
He's so in love that sometimes, Reid isn't even certain he can take it anymore. It's as if his heart keeps expanding a little more every time to accommodate how much his feelings for Luke continue to grow and even now, his chest is tight with the overflow of affection he has for the man before him. It's more than that, though, it's more than just love; it's respect. It's trust. It's a mutual understanding that no matter what, they would never hurt each other. That's why Luke can turn his head and say he wants him when Reid is raking his eyes over him like this from halfway across the room, it's a matter of his boyfriend knowing that Reid would never take advantage of him. They only ever want each other to feel good, and they've yet to fail in achieving that when it comes to having sex. When it comes to any part of their relationship, really.
In just a few strides, Reid presses himself against Luke's body, nudging the tip of his cock against his boyfriend's ass, though he knows they're not quite ready for that yet. He brushes his lips across the expanse of Luke's shoulders then up the back of Luke's neck, grazing his teeth over the bare skin before releasing his cock so he can squeeze his boyfriend's ass. "You'll have me," he says softly, pressing a kiss to Luke's cheek before pulling back just slightly so he can open the cap to the lube bottle. He squeezes until his finger is coated well enough with the lubricant, pausing for a moment so it won't be too cold, then sets the bottle down on the desk so he can gently bend Luke over a bit more.
With one hand splayed over Luke's back, Reid presses his finger to Luke's ass, gently prodding the ring of muscle to spread the lube until finally, he's pushing in. Even that, feeling just how incredibly tight Luke is around one finger, threatens to push him over the edge, and he lets out a low moan at the sight. "Oh, god. God, Luke, you're so beautiful."

With Reid, it's so easy to just give up control. It's astonishing, really, how simple it is for him to turn his head and rest his cheek against the smooth, cool desktop and just wait. He remembers the night of the super moon, how he'd felt like nothing could ever satisfy him but Reid, how he'd wanted to just take him and feel his warmth and own him in every possible way. There had been a possessiveness about him and he knows he never would have allowed himself to follow that if Reid hadn't been comfortable with him, he knows he never would have really allowed it to come out, but Reid had trusted him and so Luke had been able to be himself. He's always thought of himself as a leader, an alpha, and now, in this moment, he finds it's so easy to just forget that all and hand himself over to Reid completely.
He can submit. He can give himself over in a way he's never known before. Nothing about Reid's ability to surprise him should surprise him anymore and he laughs a little, though the sound slides into a groan as he feels Reid's slick fingers pressing against his ass. They're rubbing against him and it feels different than how Reid's tongue had felt, but no less amazing and he moans softly, pressing back against Reid. It's going to be slow going, he can feel that already, but it doesn't matter. There's a part of him that thinks he could do this all day, just be here with Reid and let him press his fingers slowly into his ass, preparing him for everything else that's to come and in a second he realizes he can't do this all day because he needs everything else. He needs to feel Reid inside him in the most intimate way possible.
"Spencer," he breathes, another shiver running through him. He can feel goosebumps chasing across his skin, over his back, his arms, everywhere his skin is exposed to the air. The hotel room is kept cool enough, which is a benefit to them right now, given how physical they've been and how much they're planning on doing, but right now it makes Luke feel like everything is conflicting. His skin is cool where Reid isn't pressed up against him, but he's warm everywhere else, on fire where Reid's hand is on his back, warm where his finger is slowly thrusting into him, working him open. "God, Spencer, you... I can't wait. I can't wait to feel you."

He pays attention to every hitch of breath that leaves Luke's mouth, every gasp and moan, filing them away so he can remember them for another time. There's no way they'll allow this to happen just once, already it's incredible, intoxicating in a way Reid hadn't known it could be. Sliding a second finger into Luke's ass is even more incredible, he can't help but watch the way Luke's body stretches to accommodate him, the spread of that ring of muscle so tempting, so inviting. He spreads his fingers inside of Luke, scissoring them the way he remembers Luke doing to him, and he takes it slow even though they're both already so close to the edge because as much as he wants to be thrusting into his boyfriend right now, Reid first priority is to make this comfortable and as painless as possible.
His first time having sex hadn't been the most pleasant, he remembers it very well. He and Ethan had been young, they'd been sloppy, unsure of themselves. It'd been different the first time he and Luke had slept together, even though Reid hadn't had sex in years and Luke had never been with a man; but he'll never forget that night, how incredible Luke had made him feel, and he wants to give that to Luke now. He wants Luke to remember this for how good it was.
"I wish you could see yourself," Reid murmurs, slipping a third finger in, pumping steadily in and out of Luke's ass. "I wish you could see what I see. You're perfect, you are, Luke, I swear." His body is hot with desire, he can feel the precome dripping from the head of his cock and catching against Luke's ass, and he wants nothing more than to finally know what it feels like to come inside of someone he loves. Slowly, he lets his fingers fall free from Luke, licking his lips in anticipation as he reaches for the lube again to put a generous coating over his cock, making himself as slick as possible before he's lining himself up against his boyfriend's body.
He doesn't have to tell Luke to let him know if it hurts too much, to let him know if they need to take a pause. This is understood, just as it'd been the very first time they'd made love, and as Reid begins to press into Luke, feeling that tightness around him, he drops his head to his boyfriend's back and lets out a deep, guttural moan.

"You," he breathes, but he doesn't manage to get out anymore than that, instead pushing back against Reid's fingers with a soft whine. He's ready, he knows he is, and he knows Reid can tell, but when his fingers slip free of his body, he still lets out a low sound of disappointment, despite knowing what else is coming now, despite looking forward to every moment stretching out ahead of them. It feels like it should be impossible, but his dick hangs against the edge of the desk, working its way back toward hard. There's something about this place or this day, something special that seems to be working its magic on Luke, and he has absolutely no issue with it whatsoever. When he wakes up tomorrow, he imagines he might be a little sore, but that's a small price to pay for this incredible experience.
He doesn't even need to say he's ready, not when his body pushes back of its own accord as soon as he feels Reid's cock pressing against him once more. This is what he's been waiting for and it isn't that Luke is an all or nothing sort of man, he's more than perfectly happy to spend all day sucking Reid's cock if that's what he were to ask for, but this... this is something new, it's something special between the two of them. It always feels like they're exploding new areas and new parts of their relationship and Luke knows, as he always does, that he's never trusted anyone like this. He's never given himself over as completely as he has with Reid. There has been other relationships, other people, and Luke has never thought of himself as having had bad relationships, but the reality is just that nothing compares. He would say he'd never compare Reid to anyone, but that's just not true at all. Everyone is compared to Reid now. Everyone is held to the same standard, everyone is expected to be as good and kind and brilliant as he is and Luke knows that isn't fair, but he can't help it when Reid has been so wonderful right from the start.
And everyone in Luke's past has been compared to him now, too. Every person he's gone to bed with has been considered and not one has held a candle to Reid. He knows that's at least partly due to how much he loves this man, but that isn't all of it. They simply connect in a way he's never had with anyone else before.
"Spencer," he breathes, curling his fingers around the edge of the desk as he feels his boyfriend pushing deeper into his body. He'd never realized it would feel like this, this fullness and this sense of being nearly owned by someone else, but he loves it. He lifts his hips, silently begging for more.
no subject
All the different sensations and emotions within him are tugging his mind in so many directions that Reid doesn't even know were to start or end. The fact that he manages to continue pressing into Luke is due entirely to instinct and in the seconds after he's entered his boyfriend completely, Reid isn't even sure he'll be able to maintain actual consciousness long enough to keep this going. He'd never known how incredible it would feel to do this, to be in this position, to fill someone in this way, and Reid knows it's no coincidence that his first time doing this would be with Luke. He'd allowed himself to be taken over, he'd never taken issue with that, but being trusted enough to touch someone like this--that's a different thing entirely.
For a long moment, they stay close to still, Reid just barely moving his hips as he feels Luke's body adjusting to the size of his cock, coaxing Luke to loosen his muscles as much as possible. He feels like he might come at any second, is tempted to because of how turned on he is right now, but Reid wants this to last. He wants to take things slow at first, let them both ease into this before they take it to another level because as much as Reid loves when they take their time, he's also desperate to fuck his boyfriend. He wants to hear skin slapping against skin, he wants to make Luke scream his name again, it's all he wants today. His overall goal for this weekend has been to make sure Luke never stops feeling good, and Reid thinks they've done pretty well for themselves in that regard.
This is going to be the third time he makes Luke comes since they'd woken up and knowing that, realizing he has that kind of power over this man, is more arousing than he would've thought possible. More than that, though, is how sexy it is to watch Luke lifts his hips like this, to watch the way Luke's body begs for more, and he wants to be able to vocalize all the things he's thinking right now, but he can't find the words. He can't even find the voice. Already, he knows he won't be shy about asking Luke to do this again. Already, he's thinking about how many more times he may be able to fuck Luke today, even if it means having to wait longer and longer between each session.
Reaching around Luke's body, Reid brushes his fingers over his boyfriend's hardening cock, smiling against Luke's skin as he lets his hand travel down until he's cupping Luke's balls. He massages them gently, flicking his tongue out to catch a drop of sweat rolling down Luke's back before pulling out nearly all the way and experimentally thrusting back in. He pauses, wanting to make sure he doesn't hear any yelps of pain, then does it again. "God," he moans, switching up the rhythm up his thrusts so he can find that perfect pace.

"Spencer," he breathes again, his voice hoarse and choked off. He can feel Reid's tongue against his skin, the way their bodies are pressed so tightly together, and he arches back again, searching for more. There's still a faint edge of pain, but it's easy enough for Luke to ignore that, knowing it's just his body stretching, opening itself up for Reid, welcoming him. It's almost as if they're meant to fit together like this, a feeling Luke has gotten more than once during their time together, and he smiles briefly before his lips part and a low moan escapes. Reid has pulled back, thrusting into him, and it feels as if there are fireworks going off behind his eyelids, filling him up with pleasure and desire both. This is all so new to him and it doesn't surprise him in the slightest that he's experiencing it with Reid. There has been so much of their relationship that's new between them, so much Luke has never done before, and he loves that he's somehow managed to save these things for this man.
They're going to get married eventually, one thing Luke has always wanted, and even just thinking that now fills him with the kind of joy he used to assume was just lost to him. In the years before Darrow he had still pinned so much hope on Jocelyn, he'd still been waiting for her in a good number of ways, and while he's long since realized it was unfair to her, he's only just begun to realize it was unfair to him, too. That he deserved to find someone who loved him entirely, someone who didn't feel the need to hold back because they were worried he might take something the wrong way. He'd been blind to any other possibilities until he'd met Reid and now all he can do is thank his lucky stars he'd managed to end up here.
"Please," he manages to moan, arching back again, seeking more. He feels a little like he's lost the ability to speak, to tell Reid just how good he feels, how much more he wants, but he trusts his boyfriend to understand what he's trying to communicate all the same. The pain has all but disappeared now and Luke wants more of this. He needs more.

All that matters to him when it comes to sex is that he's making Luke feel as good as possible. Hearing his boyfriend beg, watching the needy arch of his back and the way his cock disappears into Luke's ass with every thrust, all of it only serves to want to give more, to give every last bit of himself in the name of making Luke come again. Leaning forward so he can nibble at Luke's earlobe, he uses his free hand to grip Luke's hip, pulling his boyfriend back to meet a harder thrust and doing his best to keep from letting out a gasp out how startlingly amazing that feels. Luke is so tight around him, so warm, and he thrusts again, faster this time and harder still, the slap of skin against skin filling him with satisfaction.
"I love fucking you," he murmurs, his voice wavering in his pleasure, little whimpers escaping from deep within his throat as he squeezes Luke's balls in time with yet another thrust. "I already want to fuck you again. And again and again, god, you feel so good." Reid hadn't known he'd enjoy this so much, it comes a complete surprise because he hadn't quite known what to expect in the first place. To be buried inside Luke, it's unlike nothing he's ever experienced before, and as he nears his orgasm, he's fairly certain that he's seeing stars. His heart is pounding in his chest, his breaths more labored, and Reid lets go of Luke's balls to focus instead on stroking his boyfriend's cock, encouraging him to edge closer to release.
With a strangled moan, muffled against Luke's shoulder, Reid begins to thrust faster, any rhythm he might have initially found now abandoned, and he doesn't know whether this is the right thing to do but it's what he needs. He's so close, his cock is aching with the need to come, but Reid doesn't want to stop until Luke is ready. "I'm close," he says, voice ragged now, "Luke, I'm so close. Need you to come first. I need to feel you come."

"Spencer," he groans and his voice is barely recognizable to his ears, a desperate sort of breath more than anything. He's trembling, his entire body is shaking, and then he's coming into Reid's hand, his muscles spasming, tightening, and suddenly Reid feels even bigger inside him, impossibly huge, terribly deep, and all he knows is it's the most wonderful sensation of his life. Reid has taken complete control and the way he's grabbed Luke and hauled him back against him, the way he's stroking his cock now, how deep he feels inside Luke's body, it's all so perfect. He's more than happy to give that control away, to let himself be treated this way, because it feels a little like being worshipped, and another shiver of pleasure undulates down his back again at the thought.
And now that he's come again, all he can do is collapse forward on the desk and let Reid use him however else he'd like. His hands are still curled over the edges of the desk, keeping himself from falling right off, but he can feel his body beginning to loosen, his muscles relaxing, and he grunts softly as Reid thrusts into him again and thinks about how perfect he feels. How he could stay here for the rest of his life, content in this moment, how he would never need anything else. Nothing more than Reid and this intimacy and this closeness they have together that he's never felt with anyone else.
"Spencer," he breathes again and it's more of a request this time. Reid had wanted to feel him come first and now Luke wants him to return that sensation. He wants to know what it's like for someone to come inside him, but not just anyone, this man. He wants to know how it feels to be filled in such a way, to know no one else has ever done this and no one else ever will. Reid will only ever be the only person to be with Luke in this way and he breathes out hard, then says, "Please."

He's barely in control of his own self anymore, his own actions, and he thrusts deeper into Luke, which seems impossible and yet here he is, pressing as far into his boyfriend as this position allows. A whimper is building in his throat as he fucks Luke harder, faster, one part of him needing to give his cock the release it needs and the other wishing this didn't have to end at all. But it does, he knows, and he'll be glad for it because for the first time, he'll get to know what it's like to come inside the man he loves, to share this kind of intimacy he'll never share with anyone else. What they do behind closed doors, the sexual experiences they've had together, none of it is anything like Reid had ever imagined he would find.
He's going to marry this man. This is never going to stop, they'll always have this, something strictly meant for the two of them and somehow, that's what does it. Knowing with absolute certainty that for the rest of his life, he'll be allowed to dedicate himself to Luke, to be trusted in this way that's incomparable to anything else, that's what pushes him over the edge. With a final grunt and thrust, he's coming, pulsing into his boyfriend's body as he drops his head to Luke's back, and he couldn't form words even if he tried. Every part of his body feels tense, it's an incredible sensation, and as his orgasm comes to an end, Reid can't help but to lazily thrust again, slow but unsteady, not yet willing to slip out.
For a moment, as they recover, they just stay like that, their bodies pressed together, sticky and hot. When he finally finds that there's necessity in moving, if only because he's sure Luke can't be comfortable like this, he presses a kiss to his boyfriend's shoulder blade and lifts himself up, carefully letting his cock free of Luke's ass with a little whine. "Bed or bath?" he asks, though his throat is dry, and he reaches out to help Luke straighten from being bent over on the desk, gliding his hands down Luke's sides until he's holding onto his hips. Pausing then, taking in the sight of Luke in the afterglow of their orgasms, he smiles then presses another kiss to Luke's lips. "There's so much I want to say right now, not the least of which is that I love you. But I think my legs might give out before I can say anything else at all."

But Reid is helping him up and Luke turns, allowing himself to be maneuvered, since he doesn't think he can move on his own just yet, and his arms slide around Reid's waist, his hands settling against the small of his back and he thinks he'd be content to do anything right now. Bed, bath, lie on the floor, there's nothing that wouldn't be entirely enjoyable because they're together. It's the only thing Luke needs. They've talked about it, they're going to get married, spend the rest of their lives together, and for Luke, it's the only thing in the world that matters right now.
Since he's already said bath, though, he begins to plod slowly in the direction of the bathroom and once he's moving, once he's in the bathroom and he takes a look at the big, sprawling tub that came with their room, he's reminded all over again that this is a good idea. Leaning over the edge, he turns on the taps until the water is nice and warm, then opens one of the bottles that had been left for them beside the tub and dumbs the contents in, watching as the sweet smelling bubbles grow higher and higher.
"It's possible I put in too much bubble bath," he comments offhandedly, but he has no problem with that at all. The scent is lovely, not too overpowering, even with his heightened senses, and Luke feels drained in the best possible sense of the word. He glances back at Reid, then smiles as he steps over the edge of the tub and sinks into the scented water. The bubbles rise and billow around his shoulders, making him laugh, but he finds a place to sit and relaxes into the corner, then raises one hand and gestures for Reid to join him. Even though the two of them are awfully tall, the tub has more than enough room for the both of them, which Luke appreciates. He wants to luxuriate in this and enjoy every last moment of their time together here.

("It'll save time and help the environment" is the argument they hadn't needed to come up with.)

so the instant sense of relaxation that comes with sinking into the warm, sudsy water like this comes as a pleasant surprise. Any tension that might have been left in his body from the sheer exertion of having sex very nearly non-stop since they'd woken up is already melting away, and Reid rests his head back against Luke's chest with a contented sigh as he allows his eyes to briefly flutter shut. "This weekend has been perfect," he murmurs, and it's true. There's been nothing weighing on his mind, he'd managed to let everything go for the sake of a romantic weekend away with the love of his life, and Reid is so beyond grateful that he's found someone who's influenced him enough to do that.
This isn't something he would have if he were back in his world, it just isn't. He can't picture a scene like this fitting into the life he'd had there, and it isn't that Reid had necessarily felt empty; it's more that there'd been a distinct void he hadn't known could be filled. Coming here had changed everything, from the very start, and it tracks that Luke would have been the first person he'd met here. The first person he'd felt a true connection with, the first friend, the only one in this entire city who will ever truly know Reid and understand him in a way nobody else possibly could; and one day, they'll be married. One day, he'll be able to call Luke Garroway his husband, and the thought is enough to make him shift in Luke's arms so he can offer a small smile.
"Thank you," he says sincerely, holding Luke's gaze. "Not just for this, for coming here with me, but for everything. For being in my life, for being you. Just... thank you."
